    I usually keep my 5er tuned up to C and my 4s down to C as well. I'd be lost without the extra low notes. I have tried B (well I've gone down as low as G) but C suits me and the stuff I play just fine.

    This new amp looks great - exactly the spec I would have chosen if I were building my own amp (eq bypass, frequency select on the eq, headphone out, etc). Just curious about the 8 ohm/4 ohm thing - so it won't lose much power if you use a single 8 ohm cab? Sounds awesome. Will there be a mibass cab? I see they're a lot cheaper on Thomann than the RRP, might order one. What cab would people get to go with this head?

    The amp is in Gunnislake, Cornwall. I'm in Southampton at the moment, I'll be driving to Cornwall and back at the weekend so I could deliver it somewhere along the south coast if need be.

    For sale or trade is my Ashdown MAG combo. It's the original version with the red control panel, British built with 400W of power. It's in full working order, but has a few dents and scuffs from its eight years of life. I can photograph these for anyone interested. Also included in the sale is a case for it the previous owner had built especially for this amp. It fits like a glove and is as solidly built case as you'll find. It's located near Plymouth and can be delivered within a reasonable radius but I would rather not drive it across the country. I'm asking £300 or sensible offers.
