1. Saw it come up in my YouTube subscription box, great demo. Hope there's lots more to come!
2. Yo Shep, just checked out my Youtube subscription box, YEAHHHHHH!
3. What is the volume discrepancy like with the AGS curcuit engaged? I love how it sounds but I'm put off by the lack of dedicated volume control for the gain circuit.
4.
Keep an eye out for a Johnny Shread Freak power supply. It's a copy of a Diago. I bought one from Shep/pantherairsoft recently for VERY little money and it's a great wee PSU.
Yeah this is what you want. Basically you'll only get them second for the known future, so check on the classifieds here or on ebay. I'm sure when/if they start making them again someone will say on the forum.
5.
Next additions are going to be a proper power supply (Diago or Harley Benton) not a daisy chain
FWIW the Diago Powerstation is a daisy chain power system, doesn't have the glaring noise and power limitation flaws that cheap designs do though. If you're worried about needing isolated outputs then you'd be better getting a Voodoo Labs PP2 or something similar, though I personally see no advantage in using such a system with your setup (or my own, for that matter). If you're thinking about getting some 12V pedals though I'd serious consider getting something with dedicated 12v outputs however. Anything 9/18v -ve dc will likely work grand on a daisy chain style supply.
6. Hope you don't mind me starting you a thread Andy, I searched but it seems you didn't have one. Andy bought my Korg multi effects unit from me, no messing around, fast payment and very accommodating when I missed the early post which I had promised. Good bloke, deal in confidence.
7. PM'd. Beaten by ONE MINUTE perhaps?! Garrrrr.
8. That sucks. My suggestion is you flip it on here/ebay and buy that tempting Octamizer here in the classifieds before I do...
9.
i heard that this was to do with new EU regs on power consumption... is this true or bollocks ?
As far as I know it's true, they're changing the design at the moment to comply. Hopefully there will be one out soon enough. The price of the Diago ones has really gone up since I bought mine, worth every penny though.
10. The Lyt stuff seems pretty good, but obviously you'd have to import it as you said. Hmm there must be something domestically available that would do it.
11. That's an incredible price. Wish the photos were better though.
12. That Stache does sound massive. How are you finding the Markbass booster Mr. Murphy?
13. HEY SHEP! How are you finding your custom Stache?
14. It's called GAS. There isn't really a cure for it and a lot of us here on BassChat have it... welcome to the club!

What is it?

Reverse delay?
16. These amps really make me want to ditch my midrange combo and get a serious little set up.
17.
Five strings are handy - the lower notes are useful and the B string itself has an interesting sound to it.
THIS.
You can use it to upload videos of yourself in your bedroom two-handed tapping pieces of music that would sound much nicer on a piano.
Also this. Wish I could play piano...
18. Why not a little gig bag with zippable front and back panels? Stole this image from Talkbass...
19. I'm kind of interested in the Dubscope, though to be honest I really just want your Oxide ! Will take the pair if you can bear losing the fuzz, though I realise it's not for sale and yes I am being desperate...
20. Not a bad little fuzz actually, had one until it was It is very much a fuzzy octave up, but quite a synthy little thing. Didn't reckon much to the construction though I've got to say.
21. RIP, will be sorely missed.
22. The VT deluxe does have a DI, plus 3 presets. Also there IS a mod for the standard VT. Putnam guitars do one: http://putnamguitars.com/mods.htm There's a thread on Talkbass about it but the pictures seem to have gone walkaboot: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f36/vt-bass-mod-w-pics-605642/
23. It's the 20% VAT that I've been stung with before that hurts the most. With shipping I'm looking at adding another £40+ onto the cost. Call me a cheapskate but I guess I've just gotten into the habit of buying secondhand on here and waiting for something I like to come up.
24. I love the feel on the first sample. First two are around the same song idea? It's great how far your music has come, definitely much more polished and developed than when you first started.
25.
Line 6 m13? Not played one but seems to be a favorite choice? Andy
Unfortunately the Filter stuff probably isn't up for it, no clean blend on the parameters or something like that I think? Point is, the distortions and filters weren't so well received. For the delays, modulations, delays and reverbs the M9/13 is a solid choice (that's what I got my M9 for!). For a coverall solution, the Zoom B3 seems like a good choice, and it's pretty small and cheap. The GT-10B is a great solution, bit bigger and more expensive but much more powerful.
