1. Sorry which two pedals did you buy? You didn't say in your post. EDIT: I'm an idiot, didn't see the post tags!
2. If I were to get one, I think it would be the H - I just love that classic Stingray H sound. The HH would probably crossover too much with my G&L with its dual humbuckers, and despite the HS arguably being the most flexible, I think it looks dog ugly with that configuration.
3. Whole stack for £600 perhaps?
4.
if you have access to one, try putting the b3k through a boss odb-3 blended. sounds massive, but be careful of extraneous noise/feedback.
To be fair, most fuzzes/overdrives sound good stacked with the ODB-3. ODB-3 > Muff always sounds massive.
5. Well bugger me I'm jealous, how are you going to use them both?
6.
My only slight beef was that it was not true bypass.
An easily modded foible! Perhaps cheaper to just put it in a TB looper if you're not handy with a soldering iron .
7.
what's the thing that says SHOTT?
Amp channel switcher?
8. That is one sexy rig JTUK.
9. Cheers for the advice regarding the Nova delay pedals. Here's a little something more on topic: I'm still deciding between the Proton and the Xerograph. An EP-2 should make that decision a little simpler though. Not a finished board, just thrown together on my new PT-2 quickly.
10.
The Nova Repeater is a great pedal,I use mine quite a lot for solos. It doesn't have all of the programming of the Nova Delay, but unless you need that,it's no big deal. I basically just use the tap tempo function anyway. If you want to hear it on bass, check out Janek Gwizdala-he uses it a lot.
So to keep going off topic, but are you running your Repeater at 9v? (also this question goes to pantherairsoft re: Nova Delay). I know that both CAN be run at 9v but that input clipping can happen if you're running much boosted into it, which is why 12v is recommended for extra headroom.
11. Already bought a Proton so my 3leaf filter needs are satisfied.
12. Cheers for the timeline demos, they really do the pedal justice.
13. I did figure that was the case. Normally I'll only use 2/3 different delay settings in a set and am used to just having the Boss DD-6, so changing the knobs is no dealbreaker for me - though I can see why it would be for you! At the price point, the Nova Repeater represents ridiculously good value for the money and the Nova Delay is well priced too, I think whichever I manage to score cheap on ebay or on here first will probably make the choice for me.
14. Suweeet. I'm particularly interested in your Nova Delay demo - I'm looking to buy a Nova Repeater soon (when I shift a few pedals I don't use any more) so I'm really interested to hear how the TC stuff sounds with Bass. Also, I'm hoping it will convince me that the Repeater is adequate and that I don't need to shell out extra for the Nova Delay!
15. Nice post on reverb and delay, looking forward to your new video demos too.
16. This is now ridiculously cheap!
17.
Thanks, I was hoping it just acted on the distortion. Back to plan A.
You could always run it in a parallel loop and blend in your unaffected dry.
18. There have been a lot of nice tuners coming out recently, but even so I don't see why I should swap from my trusty TU-2.
19. I'm completely torn between my Iron Ether Xero Deluxe and my Proton - the Xero can go mental, is great just as a lowpass filter and is very versatile with the expression input, but the Proton just sounds so nice! It's so simple but oh so very groovy. I may end up with both on my board, though I know that's probably overkill. The Xero can basically do everything the Proton can, but there's something about the Proton which I love and will miss dearly if I shift it.
20. Shame not to see the full thing with TC corner . Just having a nosey through your FB band page and I stumbled across something very disturbing...someone slopped a pint over your pedalboard?!??!! What the hell did you do?! I trust everything still works fine? I've been so scared on that happening to my gear, how would you go about preventing damage and salvaging your gear?
21. If it's up for sale you've got to state a price. Otherwise if you wouldn't mind trading it, maybe put up a few ideas what you'd be interested parting with it for.
22. Quite a lot of amp for the money I think, not sure about having in built effects (especially only being able to control one parameter on the amp) but perhaps if I had an Android/Apple phone I might think differently.
I'm just a little perturbed, as I think, yet again, TC are missing a trick here. If they made a pro level lightweight powerful combo, based around their RS112 cab and high end heads, but with the ability to tilt it back, with all the aux in - headphone out and a speaker out stuff, I think they would sell a hell of a lot of them, I for one would be very interested... Eude
+1

Got to say that their DI-100's are brilliant though. Really clean (and cheap) DI, built like the proverbial too.
