Out of curiosity, how can you tell it is an EX/MIJ Stingray?

Yes, big fan here. I discovered them in in '85 with The Head On The Door and worked my way back from there. My favourite album still is Seventeen Seconds. I then lost touch with the new stuff in the '00s. The original trilogy (17 Seconds, Faith, Pornography) was in all likelihood the reason I picked up the bass. The first gig I went to was The Cure in '86. Recently, I saw them at the Albert Hall in 2011 for the Reflections show, then took my son to see them at Reading in 2012 and started seeing them again every time they tour since. They're a great live band, they have such a huge back catalogue that each show is different and even though they play for 3 hours, it's never enough

I tried the Apptek/AmpKit when I got mine a while ago. It’s a cool feature and worked fine, but there is only a very limited amount of pedals and cabs that come for free, and I quickly found out that other apps such as Amplitube are not supported. I think that’s the one let down - for the price new, I think the AmpKit bass package should be included.

There was a thread on here from a few years ago, but I guess the pictures would have gone during the site upgrade. I have a couple of files with diagrams at home, I’ll upload them when I get there.

The DigiTech Trio is back to £39.99 at Gear4Music (but on back order). They also have the Eden I90 Bass Chorus for £29, which seems cheap if you’re after a Chorus.

I bought a multi-effects pedal off RLP. It was quickly delivered, great communication throughout, easy transaction. Recommended.

I like the music on Bandcamp, and I love Stereolab. Now, if only I could play bass. The band’s website says North London I believe.

I got the HotOne Skyline Wally, which is tiny, dead cute and pretty good with some nice features (http://www.hotoneaudio.com/products/skyline/loopstation/7.html). But my son nicked it so I got myself a DigiTech Jamman Stereo, which I use as a practice tool and is brilliant.

I bought a pedal board from Ambient. It was very well packaged and arrived safely, with a few goodies (velcro, cable ties etc). Great communications during the transaction, top BCer. Many thanks. Florent.

Nice bass, did it come without the pick guard or did you remove it? I have an amberburst which my son likes so much he has more or less nicked it... Mine is on the heavy side!

The Lovely Eggs have tweeted that their support act for tonight's gig in Galashiels has dropped out and they are looking for a replacement. It's in Scotland according to Google. I don't know what the arrangement would be. I bought a stereo looper from Mace. It's a pretty big pedal and it arrived safely, cocooned in its original box, and very quickly. It was a pleasure to trade with Mace, a very easy transaction.
