Hi, * Price reduction - £1150 * I'm putting my Sandberg TT5 SL (Super Light) back up for sale. I had a John East J-Retro deluxe installed at the Bass Gallery, the added tonal flexibility really makes this a great bass. They also did a fret level so the action can be set really low if required. It's in very good condition, the odd mark but nothing major - light wear to the frets. Cedar body finished in Blackburst Maple neck/fingerboard John East J-Retro Deluxe Pre Sandberg Blacklabel T Pickups 34" scale 14" Fingerboard Radius Weight 6lbs 12oz / ~3kg String spacing at bridge is adjustable 18mm-19.5mm Music Area aa35 gig bag. I'm currently based in Surrey but often in London and Newbury Cheers, Joe

Hi, I'm selling this Andreas Zeller bass. It's a decent student instrument, 4/4 size (43.5 inch scale length) Comes with a padded gig bag. I've had a few people ask about the playing condition - currently it plays just fine but the bridge has warped (pictured) so a new bridge and set up would be advised at some point. £350 (£400 with the pickup) collected, I could possibly deliver if you're not too far. Cheers, Joe

Hi, I'm looking to sell/trade this Carvin SB5000. These fantastic jazz basses are getting pretty rare these days. £950 Body: Alder Neck: Maple Fingerboard: Birdseye maple String spacing: 19mm Fingerboard radius: 14" Scale length: 34" Weight: 4.5kg I have upgraded the stock pickups/pre to Nordstrand 70's single coils and a John East J-retro deluxe. It's in really good condition with some very minor wear - there are a couple of knocks in the finish that are hard to photograph. I'm based in Berkshire but travel all over the country frequently. Thanks for looking! Joe

I recently acquired this from Lowregisterhead (link to his original ad below), it's a lovely playing and great sounding bass but try as I might, I just don't get on with 35" scale basses. It's had a recent set up, with some minor fretwork to fix a couple of high frets. I don't have any means to post so collection would be preferable - delivery/meet up could also be arranged, within a reasonable distance of RG17. £850

Hi, I'm selling my Mayones Jabba. It's been well gigged and has quite a few battle scars, hence the price. Alder body with flamed maple top. Rosewood fingerboard 34.25" scale 19mm string spacing 20" radius weight is 4.65kgs Seymour Duncan Basslines pickups Sadowsky Preamp Plexiglass ramp (removable) It just had a pro setup and a light fret dress last week. The D-string string tuner is Nickel and doesn't match the others which are chrome. £600 collected. I could possibly post but I would need to source a suitable box first. No trades please. Thanks

Carvin SB5000's do set the bar high in regards to balance; when sitting, mine balances perfectly on my leg, no hands!

That's a pretty good impression but it's not Jaco! Maybe Marcus Miller?!

I think that you might be confusing intervals with scale degrees. Intervals simply describe the distance between two notes whereas scale degrees are relative to the tonic (root) — an E in a C scale/chord will always be the 3rd degree but the distance between E - C (ascending) is a minor 6th. A good trick for realising the inversion of an interval is to subtract the interval from 9, i.e. the inversion of a 6th is a 3rd, the inversion of a 7th is a 2nd etc. Also, a major interval will become minor once inverted and vice a versa (except for 4th's/5th's which are perfect).

That's gorgeous!

This is gonna be rad! Sadowsky knobs for sure, especially with the pearloid pickguard.
