    Yeah I am thinking of going down the jeannies route, but I'm not sure there still operating. I heard that the main guy who makes the pickguards had died. I've had a go at creating my own template, found it difficult to get the spacing between the pickup routing and neck pocket accurate.

    Trying to do that machines, asked the bass doc if he could make one but he needs a template. If anyone out there has a 55-01 with a pickguard, all I need is an outline template and bada boom done!!

    Hey gang, I looking to get a pickguard for my Lakland 55-01. Apart from Jeannie's pickguards it seems impossible to find one. Anybody on here have a pickguard for their 55-01?? If so could you send me an outline tracing so I can send it to the Bass Doc? got Howard standing by to make one for me, he just needs a template. My 55-01 is an Indonesian built ones. another thing, is Jeannie's pickguards still in operation?? if so are they good to deal with?? heard lots of conflicting opinions on the company.     Hello Friends, For Sale I have a Spector NS-2000B 4 String bass in red, which I not long ago bought from Mojobass off this very forum, with the intention of modding. I have started the process but due to lack of funds and time have lost the interest, therefore am looking to pass on this cracking little bass to someone else to play around with. The bass features a Bass wood body, maple neck with rosewood board, single volume and tone controls and a single EMG Hz pickup, which give the bass a kind of Musicman meets single jazz pickup kind of tone. The bass originally featured chrome hardware, which I didn't like the look of, So I decided to change out the bridge and tuners for black hardware which gives the bass a more classic Spector look. the original chrome hardware will be included in the sale. I'm looking for around £100 (p+p included) for the bass. The sale will include the original hardware and a carry case for the bass as well.     Hello all For sale I have a P bass made from Quality parts in including Fender, Seymour Duncan and Wilkinson This bass was assembled by me over a year or so ago. The bass features a genuine Mexican Fender 50's p bass body finished in Honey blonde, made of alder, nice and light. The Neck is a Mexican Fender jazz bass neck from the modern player series I believe. the tuners are the stock ones that came with the neck. Both the neck and body were bought on Ebay from The Stratosphere shop. The Pickups are Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders, the wiring Harness is one of KIOGon's own creations, with solderless terminals. The Bridge is a Wilkinson BBOT with the brass saddles, nice bit of kit. Along with the black scratchplate I will be including a white one and tortoise plate as well. No case but the bass will be well packaged for posting. Considering the parts used to build this bass, I'm asking for a modest £200 (p+p included) Paypal is acceptable (as a gift or you pay the fees) Any further questions or pictures, please feel free to ask Thanks for looking!!!     Hey Gang!! For sale i have a Boss ME-50B multi-effects unit for sale. Bought it a while back to dabble with and use at home, played one gig with it and jammed with it a couple of times.
