2. Nip off for a piss and lose my place at the barrier!!!! Budge up please!!!!
3. Digitech Studio Quad. Great bit of kit!! And there's one going for a song on the bay at the moment.
4. I bought this when I got my HK ELIAS system a few years ago and I've never used it except for home practice. It's a 14 channel mixer with 6 XLR inputs and four stereo channels. Basic built in digital effects, efx send, aux send and two group assigns. Very slimline and will fit most 12U mixer racks/cases if you can find the rack ears on the bay. Comes with dedicated power supply (this has a rattle when you shake it.... may a small piece of plastic is jumping around on the inside.... however, easily cured..... don't shake it!!!) and a fully padded flightcase. The case has some 'pitting' to the metal hinges and corners etc, but works fine. £95.00 and pick up from Brandon in Suffolk. Stock 'google' photo below but pictures of actual unit and case on request.
5. The lights have dimmed..... Choc ices and popcorn in about seven minutes.......
6. I have four Dynamix Mid/Hi tops for sale. Each cab handles a 6 ohm load and is equipped with 6 5" speakers. They give a punchy bright sound and are suitable for a flying in-house system. You will need two separate amps to run these due to their impedance rating. One set is vinyl tolex covered and the other carpeted. Both sets show usual wear and tear but perform very well. All drivers are in good working order. I will sell each set for £70.00 or both sets together for £120.00 Pick up only, due to weight, unless you want to arrange a courier at your expense. Pictures to follow when I can find my camera. Now sold, thanks for the interest.
7. I got this when I purchased all my studio gear, but I also have 3 MOTU 2408 Mk2's so this have never been used by me. All works fine though. Details of this unit can be found on the Fostex website. Photo of unit lifted from Google.... These tend to go on ebay for about £75-90 plus delivery... Shall we say £65 delivered on here?
8. One set of used metal barrell knobs in black. 2 x traditional and one 'stacked' knob for a dual control pot. Good condition. I have no idea of value or price, so lets say £5.00 delivered? If this is too much, please let me know. If it's too little then someone will get a bargain!! EDIT: As kindly pointed out by BassBunny via pm (as it should be) I had seriously overpriced these..... now available at a fiver posted in a scented jiffy bag with a couple of midget gems thrown in!! Might even get the Wife to rub them over her boobies first!!! Now SOLD.
9. It's very cold, by the way! That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!!!
10. Further developments just in....... Tombboy has joined our diplomatic correspondent outside Stringfellows, stripping naked and chaining himself to the railings! Further news to follow if anything pops up!
11.
if the family have requested privacy it may not show up in the mainstream media?
Not necessarily..... if police were called (which they would have been as it would have been a 'scene of crime' until facts are established) then press are sent the facts as a matter of procedure. WHETHER they decide to go to print or not (as a mark of respect) is down to the editorial staff. I do hope this works out though and it was simply an over emotive forum member struglling with grief.
12. in before the lock
13. The special is really nice! However, you're going to warp that door unless you sort the bottom hinge pin out!!
14. Just GIVE it away, why don't you!!! What a bargain!
15. That is just gorgeous!!!
16.
Oh - and the company doesn't exist at Companies House either.
They don't have to if they're a sole trader or partnership. You only register with companies house if you become a director of a limited company.
17. Bought my old Westone Thunder 1-A from Colin. Very patiently put up with my (lack of) courier service! Bass is lovely and it's good to have her home again after twenty years!! Cheers Col.
18.
I've just shown the pics of this bass to my wife. She declared it beautiful, then asked the price. I told her and she said "Just get it!" then laughed as my eyes lit up and then died again as I realised she was joking. Have a bump...
Just buy it then.... and then tell her you've got Aspergers and can't understand sarcasm!!
19. This is my old baby.... and I can honestly say it is the BEST Stingray I have ever owned. SUPERB bass in every way. Anyone who buys will be so pleased!!!!!
20. Essentially, you are putting the computer into the chain so to speak, so you have to complete back to the mixer... an insert lead is the only option I think.
21.
I believe that there were only 800 of these built,
783 actually! God I love being pedantic!! From a previous owner of one of these instruments I can honestly say that anyone who buys this will NOT be disappointed. They are tonal giants!! BTW, different strap nuts on this to the originals supplied. Also, isn't the case 'oxblood' with black velvet interior?
22. 'Modelling' amps are great in the studio but IMO they just don't cut it live.
23. AFAICR, when you put a mono jack into an insert, you effectively 'break' the circuit. You need stereo to 2 x mono or 'insert looms' to return the signal to the mixer. I take it you're sending the insert signal to an I/O interface? Is so, and the interface has returns then a simple insert loom will do it, no problem. You will only get the line level signal though... pratting about on the mixer will not affect the signal to the interface. Studiospares do tip/ring/sleeve 'send & return' insert leads fairly cheap.
24. I was going to say try a Sandberg Cali JM5.... but then you mentioned the 'cheap' word.
