1. 'Tis Melbourne.... that's where the work is too!
2.
so are you selling up the bizniz or is that now self running?
Business has been sold. Going back to being a nurse for someone else!! I think I'll live longer that way!
3. Thanks guys, and of course I'll stick around.... although I'll be on the night shift!! Not actually going until early next year sometime. All depends on my work sponsor, but as soon as we get the visa then things will shift lightning quick!!
4. Bump for edit and apologies.... it's now all coming with me! To those who have pm'ed me, please accept this post as my reply and thanks for your interest. Pete, the building is yours for 200k.... comes with a four bedroomed detached house!! And a rabbit! And a hamster!! And two goldfish!!!!
5.
I had to dose up with super strong co-proxamols pre gig on saturday and a top up at half time.
Jesus! Bet you could lay bricks with your poo!
6. After watching Mr Sheehan play live I was so impressed with his style in the context of a song. Tight to the kick, holding down an incredible groove, great sound, superb stage presence (I couldn't take my eyes of him and his technique). However, his solo-ing left me so bored I felt like shouting out "WE KNOW YOU CAN SHRED.... JUST PLAY THE DAMN SONGS!!". I know that some fans come just to see him do that but I much prefer the totally original way he contributes the songs of Mr Big.
7. Sorry Gary, if it was 4 ohms then I might have considered it.
8. Threatening to wallop Mike Tramp (White Lion) if he didn't stop trying to hit on my (then) girlfriend backstage. He got the message and tried to pull her friend instead..... only her boyfriend would have let her!!
9.
I've currently got two of the 2"x10"'s and would like to swop one of them for a 15", just thought I would ask if you would consider it? I know you would prefer a sale, but just let me know. Thanks all the best, Gary
Are they the 'travellers' or STD's? What's the impedance?
10. Is it the musical version?
11. A cheeky little
12. I've got a combination of virtually endless opportunity. For rehearsals and city gigs I use my MB F1 with a MB 102p. For larger gigs I'll use my MB TA503 linked to an Aphex aural exciter. Any combination of cabs. For much larger gigs I can use all my cabs and dual amp with both heads. Also got my Bass Pod XT Pro into a Peavey PV2600 power amp. Spoilt for choice really....
13. My TA503 is switchable. Pre or post. Edit: just realised you're talking about the effects loop and not DI... oops! As 51m0n said, use the DI into the other amp and then DI from the 2nd head if required.
14.
Ebay it - I got almost £500 for my 15HF.
I know.... but I'd much rather it went to one of 'the family' if you see what I mean.
15. Getting some great interest... sadly, mostly about stuff which I haven't advertised yet!! Also, have edited the OP saying that everything is on hold for a week as I may have a potential buyer for the whole lot. If that doesn't come through then I will add to the OP with all the new stuff as and when I itemise it.... please remember.... if you don't see it advertised then it's not for sale... thanks.
16.
is it the logic plug in, add on, drip down, wi fire, spduf, virtual grizzly? If so I'd be interested!!
That's the one... only the dribble down version. Has an intermittent fault which can be cured by covering yourself in female bear pherenomes and playing dead. Still got the claw marks and can fart like a howitzer!!!
17. Ok, JBL monitors are the Control 5 models as pictured below in grey The MOTU mkII have three banks of ADAT and TDIF digital in/out as well as eight analog ins and outs, and SPDIF in/out. ANALOG in/out are 24bit unbalanced trs connectors. No SM57 unfortunately... did have an SM58 until some tit (not me) decided whilst singing to unplug the Neumann and plug in the Shure without telling me..... cue 48 volts straight up the cable.... POP!!!! All recording of guitars etc were done through modelling amps, due to contraints on volume. No mic splitters. Got an ETEK 8 channel headphone amp but I'll be keeping that for when I downsize to a HD multitrack system. I'll take a good look at all the cabling after this fella has been round... I know I have one H&K D.I. (just the box, not rack) but no xlr patchbays. MILES of looms, patch cables, etc. Bear with me.. (not a real one!)
18. Bump and fifty quid knocked off!
19. Cliff Williams Signature Stingray. Just one volume knob and tuned E, E , E & E!!!!
20.
What brand are the patchbays? How many i/os do they have? I've assumed it's a 1/4" patchbay... Also, I'm interested in one of the MV-5s. Can you use it like a vocoder (with a MIDI keyboard)? PM me if you can, I'll probably forget to check back here. Cheers, AJ
AFAICR, one berhinger... the other four I don't know. All are quality 48 i/o patchs which are 19" 1U rackmount fully switchable non/semi/full normalised etc. The vocoders are fully compatible as a midi unit... you just have to program the key changes.

Jamie EVERYTHING IS ON HOLD FOR A WEEK AS I HAVE SOMEONE INTERESTED IN THE WHOLE SYSTEM. IF IT DOESN'T COME OFF THEN I'LL NOTIFY YOU ALL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. MANY THANKS
22.
If you decide to part with both cabs and would like a 106HF to look sexy next to your 106HR let me know :-) Shep
Thanks Shep, Sadly, 6ohms x 6ohms = buggered amp!! Thanks anyway.
23. Sorry Uzzell, it's not... I use it for rehearsals and small gigs.
24. Due to the recent arrival of my 106HR I have no use for this anymore. Superb cab, really punchy with loads of low end and headroom. 8 ohms - 400watts RMS. Very lightweight due to the neodynium speakers. Retails on Ebay at £680.00... if you shop around you could probably pick them up for around £590.00. This is about three years old and is in top condition (had a cover made for it which has served well).... never really been pushed volume wise and rarely out of the house bar a couple of big gigs. Variable switch for the 1" compression driver. First person to put [s]£395[/s] £345 into my grubby paws will land it. Pick up from Brandon in Suffolk only I'm afraid.... don't want to post this with the state of Royal Mail / ParcelFarce these days. First is the actual unit (Hands off everything else!!), second is a stock photo. More info here. I may be interested in a swap for a Fender Jazz (MIA/CIJ please... no Mex!)
