Put his "X" on the paperwork that said "Design Approved". So hope EBMM put this into production. Be the last thing it ever does.
Wake up! This is the Sterling prototype.... been around since '92. Obviously proves you wrong... it hasn't been the last thing he ever does. Let me guess noelk27, do you own Fender?

EBMM Stingray with Status Graphite neck. SOLD!!!
tombboy replied to tombboy's topic in Basses For Sale
the graphite neck turns the stingray from a standard mid-high end bass to a superb high end instrument which plays, looks and sounds superb, i cant recommend them enough
I have to say.... BMK missed out on this by literally seconds. Very gracious response, bless him. Thanks for the kind words. -
Nothing dodgy. Looks completely genuine. "The 4 bolt was introduced in circa late 1979. As the 3 bolt plate was not deleted immediately, both appeared concurrently during 1980 and 1981. From 1982, the 4 bolt plate appeared exclusively to the end of the Pre-EB period in 1984. The words "MADE IN U.S.A." were deleted from 4 bolt plates when Ernie Ball commenced production in 1985. However, some stocks of the Pre-EB 4 bolt plate were used on very early EB Basses. Formally belonging to CrazyKiwi, I think most of you are familiar with this bass... it was even discussed a few weeks ago. I have to finance my studio so this baby has to move on. Been a very loyal bass for me and I'll be gutted to see it leave but needs must! Enrie Ball Musicman Stingray... bit of a hybrid really, let me explain. The body has been refinshed in a high gloss natural finish... superbly done! It has strings through ferroules but these are not utilised due to the 'flea' bridge. Neck plate and tuners are genuine EBMM. Norstand pick up and 3 band stacked pre-amp, which is amazing... great tone. Unused side mounted routing and plate for a jack (used jack is on the control plate). I have replaced the black knobs with chrome ones. The Status neck is just amazing... fluid, fast, straight with no dead spots whatsoever. I have used some of Kiwi's old picture together with some of mine. AFAICR I paid about £550 for this just over a year ago... would really like to make this back so I'll through in a Hiscox case as well. Delivery about £25 I think. First to put £575 in my greasy hands will get this delivered. Cheers,

Due to buying Thumbo's TA503 (almost!) I now have this little beauty up for grabs. 450 Watts into 4 ohms (300 into 8 ohms I think). Effects loop, tuner out, and balance DI out with ground lift. Front panel has the classic Markbass 4 band parametric EQ, unbalanced and balanced inputs and the VLE (Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator) filter. Very clean hi-fi sound and really moves some serious air.... I use this with a 102P for rehearsals and it more than keeps up with the guitarist and drummer. Team it up with an extention cab and its mindblowingly brutal. Come with a Markbass padded gig bag and of course the IEC lead! £335.00 plus postage? Please note... this particular Ferrari will NOT run over any fellow band members, dragging it's IEC lead halfway across the stage!! EDIT: Please note, this is NOT a LMII.... it is the earlier 'Little Mark' model Now with more pics!!! Some make the unit look pink (ooer missus!) but that is just the flash. Trust me.... it's very red!!

Needs a set up. I bit of fret buzz in a few places, but neck is sound. Awsome finish. I'm playing a festival later today but I'll try to get some more pics up tomorrow if that helps.
