thanks dude! yea, it's a fantastic bass to play, with an amazing tone. Unfortunately, I don't really have a use for the extra strings anymore, and it is far too nice an instrument to just sit around in my room.

Hey there all, For sale is my Yamaha TRB1006 bass. It is in very good condition, with the only damage being the loss of the plastic battery compartment cover on the back, (which is a very easy fix). It looks plays and sounds great, and I am sad to let it go, but it just doesn't get as much use as it should, and I need to clear some space for moving house. I would be looking for around [s]350[/s] 300 for it, but all offers will be considered I am based in Faringdon, which is a village in between Oxford and Swindon. Anyone interested is more than welcome to come and try the bass out. The bass will be collection only, as I do not wish to post it, but i would be willing to meet halfway if you live further away. This is a feeler for my lovely Yamaha TRB 1006 6-string bass. This is a great bass to play, with a nice low action and a fantastic sound. It is in great condition, with the only damage being a missing battery compartment cover, (which is a very cheap and easy thing to sort out). Unfortunately, I don't play the same sort of stuff I did when I bought this, and the top C is getting neglected. I am ideally looking to trade for a 5 string, like an ibanez sr or something similar. well, i mean disappointing to me i'm very much a jazz bass person, lol. they are very good at what they do.

i really wish i liked tbirds, cos they look gorgeous. but the sound and neck dive is so disappointing. good with selling

haha. i'm waiting on the sale of my p bass, which i will hopefully be able to sell, then i will be sending you a message straight away, cos this is a gorgeous bass.

cheers the action is really nice. it's set fairly low at the moment, and it is definitely possible to make it lower if you want to and there is no fret buzz on any string anywhere on the neck. and i am willing to hear offers for trades, don't worry, I won't bite, hehe

This is a beautiful USA Fender Precision Bass, built in the Corona plant in 2006. It has a black body and a maple neck with a one piece maple fingerboard with black dot inlays on the front and side. The bass is in great shape, with only one mark on the body, which is very difficult to see (pictured below). The neck plays very nicely, all the frets are in good condition and I have just had a brand new nut installed. The tuners are all in perfect condition, as is the rest of the hardware on the bass. There is a small amount of corrosion on a few of the screws and on one of the poles of the split coil pickup which I shall be doing my best to clean up in the next few days. This doesn't affect the sound of the bass at all, it still produces that amazing p-bass growl. This is a fantastic bass to play, and I will be sad to see it go, but I just don't use it as much as I used to, so I think it deserves a new home. (Apologies for the quality of a couple of the pictures, my camera isn't behaving properly at the moment, more pictures are available on request). I live in Reading, so if anyone wants to come down and look at/play the bass then viewings are welcome. Ideally i am looking for somewhere around £600 for the bass (though I will consider offers). I would also be willing to take trade offers for Jazz basses (I am also able to offer some extra cash to top up trades for things like CIJ jazzes etc).
