Thanks for the comment. I always preferred the idea of 35inch scale length on the B, but the break angle on the bridge creates a lot of tension and the B is very well defined and focused.
I agree. The necks are great and very light basses. This one's set up with light gauge strings so great for slapping.
I was planning to sell this but changed my mind as its a lot of bass for not much cost.
Thanks for the comment.
Sold my GWB35 to Woody and a very smooth transaction. Great communication and would be more than happy to deal with again.
Highly recommended and trustworthy. A real gent!
Yes, did it myself. Chiselled out some of the wood beneath the pickup to enable it to go lower as was aiming for the Willis thing - low action and light touch.
Unfortunately, Basswood is very light and a mishap on my part led to the section chipping off.
Here's another angle on that section.
Simon is an absolute gent! Communication was brilliant. Payment went well. We arranged to meet and exchange the bass and that went very smoothly.
Above that; a really nice guy to chat to and totally genuine.
Would highly recommend Simon and would be more than happy to deal with again
