Welcome Colin, just play mate don’t worry about what or how it sounds just yet, just get those hands moving and finger plucking unless your using a pick in which case throw the bass out the window lol only messing bass and pick sounds awesome. Good luck with it I hope you get as much enjoyment out of playing as I’m sure we all have over the years. I won’t lie it takes a lot of time and dedication to get to a level but it’s worth it. I’m still putting in the practice nearly 29 years later. ✌️

Just picked this mark rig up today after months weeks and days contemplating what to get. This came up and it also involved a day out by the seaside. I’m hopeful going to be gigging a lot more after I threw my toys out of the pram a few years ago and quite the gigs I was doing. I’ve had mark gear before so happy as can be.

I hear ya man but i can seem to find a cab and head in my budget. I’m also only using eBay as I can use PayPal credit etc which means I won’t get a divorcé immediately 😂

Decided against the cab and I think I’m 75% heading down this route. I’ll only be playing pubs for now so no need for the 810 ampeg rig quite yet 😂 this looks to have everything I need and I can stack it should I need a bigger sound which at the moment is very doubtful. Any thought would be appreciated

Well basses with hips are rare. They hey do pop up now and then but you have to be quick on your feet to get them.

Yeah man sounds like a good deal. Unfortunately the studios near me have been let downs. I’d of thought that they would make great practice cabs for the rehearsal rooms etc but had no luck. So I’m posting on here all someone has to do is come a collect them. 👍

I acquired a Warwick 410 and a 115 bass cab and have 0 use for them I’ve tried donating to schools and various local rehearsal studios with 0 luck. collection in Burnham Berkshire

A couple of years late on the thread but hey ho! in regards to the original post..the zender signature bass is awesome. SZ was my favourite bass player as a wee lad and i am lucky enough to know him quite well. I was honoured to take possession of one of his basses for my birthday. Probably the best gift ever 💜
