1.
Omg! That's really nice! I approve. CIJ fenders FTW
Thanks. Sounds awesome through my new TC Electronics rig. Just wish my back approved!
2. If that thing plays anything like my mate's Parker Fly guitar it is well worth the money! If you still have it when my Aerodyne Jazz is sold I'll be interested. Have a bump on me!
3.
Hehe I see Mr Glen Buck playing the drums in the pic!!!
"Mr"? I think that's taking politeness a little far when referring to drummers....particularly that one!!!
4. Had a bit of interest in PMs, but if it doesn't go soon will have to turn to Ebay
5. OK. I've had a few PMs about this, so I'll add the info that I have been asked about in case anybody else is wondering. There are no problems with the bass at all (I've been asked about electrics and truss rod specifically) I have owned it from new (December 2008) I am prepared to ship if necessary (UK only) Thanks Nick
6.
Hi & welcome to the forum. Can I be the first to comment on your bands name. Inspired by a certain Oasis album per chance?
Haha thanks. I can see where you're coming from, but I doubt it as the singer started the band and doesn't like oasis. He just likes to be outrageous. He's a big gay man fronting a rock band and he listens to tina turner and Kylie!
7. Pic added of it in use. Only gigged a handfull of times
8. Thanks. Yeah, I think I've been spoilt weight-wise with the lyte so I'm sticking with it. Wish I could get used to the aerodyne jazz as it's gorgeous and gets so many compliments, but it's currently in the for sale section as it just feels so big in comparison and I'm quite small
9. Hi there people. I'm new around these here parts. Bass player (of sorts) for 21 years, having started as a guitarist. I quickly realised that guitarists are two a penny and there is always a shortage of bass players, so I could get into better bands without needing to be a better musician! Regularly gigging around Essex/Suffolk area and currently playing 80-90 gigs per year with covers band "Stiff in the Morning". I've been using a pearlescent white Precision Lyte for the last 19 years, which I wouldn't swap for anything and I also currently own a Japanese non-export Aerodyne Jazz in candy apple red, but that is now up for sale, due to it feeling too big after the lyte. Amp gear is a TC Electronic Classic 450 which I bought only last week and gigged twice over the weekend (amazing bit of kit!), currently through a Hartke XL115 and XL210 until I can afford the matching TC 2x12 and 2x10 cabs.
10. I'm selling my lovely CIJ Aerodyne Jazz. This is not the model generally on sale over here. It was made exclusively for the Japanese market and, unlike the export models, features a scratchplate and cream binding on the striking candy apple red finish. It has a rosewood neck, P/J pickups and a lightweight basswood body. The only reason I'm selling it is, although it is lightweight (at around 7lbs), I've found the body to be too large for me. I find that I stand a different way to when I play with my Precision Lyte and it gives me back pains, so it reluctantly has to go. It plays superbly, sounds great and really growls through my TC Electronic rig. My friends and bandmates know how much I love it and can't believe I'm selling it. It's in great condition with just a small amount of beltrash on the back (see pics). I'm in Colchester and I'm looking for £440 Any questions, please ask :-)
