2. GASSING hard, unfortunately the only swaps I've got wont do it and I'm skint.
3.
If not drinking will spoil your night, you have a problem.
It is only a problem if you make it one.
4. Both, and two of each so I could string one with flats and one with rounds. Maybe also a 5 string J.
5. My Squier CV was the same. It is currently being setup by a pro and I mentioned it to him. Will see what he says when I collect it.
6.
Just couldn't seem to focus, then had a little brain blank , hit a duff note and then hit it again
That's jazz.
7. There are three but one isn't easily got at because it is supposed to be set for the bass you use it with and then left.
8. And John Taylor's Kubickis. The White one first then the pink one.
9.
This whole Victor Wooten - inspired school of bass playing doesn't appeal at all to me ,
Me either but I found this highly enjoyable.
10. I have to admit while I do love old instruments (and cars) buying a new guitar (or lightly used for cost reasons) and playing it is probably the sensible thing to do. The first ding does hurt though.
11. I have the 760FS in my American Standard. But had no issue with .055 - .105 in my Squier Jazz.
12. I'm trying to get out of a prior engagement to attend. Not sure anyone will be that interested in my gear though.
13. After a few weeks off I had forgot how to play in E, to the point I didn't know where B was on the fret board. I am under a lot of pressure at work so I'm blaming that.
14.
I reached the conclusion that it was so subtle that I couldn't detect it even when playing solo and concentrating on what it was doing.
That has to be a setup issue.
15. I put Labellas on my P Bass 2 and a half years ago. Well worth it. Have the Fender 9050M on my Jazz.
16. Another part of the puzzle is in place.
17.
Do you find these two ladies scintillating in a musical or a romantic sense ? Both , I expect . The good news is that you could definitely get a woman like one of these two . Every alternative music venue and indie bar in America is full of them and they are waiting for someone like you to buy them a drink . This is surely a goal within your reach .
Very good
18. Sums up my thoughts but I will add going between passive fender and active Aria means it needs the gain pot trimming. Also it is incredibly musical, it just makes you sound much better.
19. Gregg Bisonette sat in for a couple of songs in a VH and DLR tribute band when I was studying drums with him. Very funny, the guys were so excited.
20. Robert Cray – Nothin But Love
21. Slow progress but I got it mocked up today to see if the pain of getting the plastic finish off is worth the effort. The saddles are wound alomst to their full extent and it is still running a low low action, I don't think I'l need to shim the bridge but you never know. Plays nice, the pickups are really good sounding, so different to my other Jazz, the pots are rubbish and scratchy. Will complete my setup and play it like this for a little while. Decided on inca silver paint (I think).
22.
In total I've paid around £60 in subs but I must have listened to around £300-400 worth of albums
I've listened to that many today!
23. I am on month 4 of a premium membership and have listened to a lot more music than I normally would of (new stuff rather than just the albums I own).
24. 1996 was my first visit. It was a year of horrendous storms in the area and it took almost exactly 24 hours to get there door to door (150 miles) because of fallen trees. I fell asleep at the wheel of my van while in stationary traffic (my bird was asleep in the back) when I woke up to someone banging on the window and realised the traffic had long since started moving and cars were going round me. Anyway we went there and it was alright, muddy as f***, got into a bit of an altercation with a rentacop who tried to run me over in a land rover and I ended up smashing the windscreen by punching it gently. I remember seeing Beck and RATM and smoking some weed.
