1. Could the singers timing be anymore annoying? WTF is that bass, it's got about a million strings!
 2. Just had a quick look. The only thing I can see on there is the custom shop pickups versus standard ones and the mention of a SKB case.
 3. Third vote for Shoreline here. Headstock has to match. White guard.
 4. That's no bad thing, at least I cvan stop agonising over it. I can never decide itf it looks great or crap I guess a white plate is the next best thing, the tort one it comes with isn't great to my eyes.
 5.
Ant... those CV Jazzers are superb, would make a great start for a replica project.
I like it. I'd really like to do a matching ehadstock on it if I can get the right Squier decal, I'm also seriously considering taking the pick guard off altogether and putting some hepcats in it.
 6. So he's asking you to take on the risk of the night not being a success. Avoid.
 7. Went in and came out with a bass. Good service, nice guys. Showed them this thread.
 8. Memphis is awful, Nashville is the greatest city on earth.
 9. www.myspace.com/officejunior It was a phase I was going through.

 18.
If you order or send purchased goods other than alcohol, tobacco, perfume and toilet water from a country outside the EU then you:

don't have to pay Excise Duty
may have to pay Customs Duty on goods with a value that exceeds £135
will have to pay import VAT on goods with a value that exceeds £15

So you owe HRMC some money. EDIT Actually just saw this
Note that on all goods from outside the EU, Customs Duty is waived if the amount of duty calculated is £9 or under.
So just buying your strings one set at a time you save 20%
 19. If only I wasn't a weekend warrior. <edit> Despite that flippant comment, this is the sort of band I aspire to be part of. Playing proper blues in a trio setting and it not being a re-enactment. One day
 20. I'm really pleased with the tone I get on my p bass, it's a real woody sound and flatters my playing. When I switch to the Aria is cries out for a different style, one that escapes me currently. Do you feel influenced to play differently depending on your instrument?
