1. i might as well start the ball rolling on the "wow that is lovely" replies. very nice indeed.
2. hi phil, lovely bass mate, not seen one in painted finish like that before, i got a sr1304 back in 92` and it has made me only able to use these basses as the necks are so thin and fast and there is not much that touches them for playability. my current bass is a heavily modified sr1000 esm from around 2006-7 and i absolutely love it and doubt i will ever need another bass as it ticks all the boxes. good luck with the sale as these are criminally overlooked as a fantastic bass type bump. ad
3. that is lovely and bloody good price. you would never know its nearly 25 years old!
4. i second that! it would be criminal but even if you took the cones out they are worth it big time! surely you would get some joy on ebay? and prob` get your £300 that way.
5. i will go third in line(dont hold much hope) and send you a copy of win 7 too! get shot of vista is dog sh*te!
6. really fancy this but not enough dosh at present. it goes to show that upgrades generally are a poor return. good luck with the sale
7. 8!!! thats rude! i have had a lot of basses but a wal is still my top bucket list bass. i heard a band in the early 80`s with a fretless wal and it sounded out of this world. i didnt even play at the time but remember it standing out as an awesome sound. cant see this hanging around long as its very pretty and what with being overhauled recently its got to be as good as buying new. drool drool. pray tell, what is the reason behind the dark one being the daddy?
8. yew is not a wood you see very often on a bass but it looks bloody awesome! one of the nicest i have seen in a good while. i will have a wal one day! just not this day unfortunately.
9. that is a fantastic looking guitar! ultra cool. the detailing looks phenomenal. good luck with sale.

13.
Hmmm, I wonder if it would work with my Shuker and its GHOST pre and midi sensors...
hi yes thats the same set up i have. pretty much undetectable midi lag at last!
14. still very much for sale after being dicked about for two weeks.
15. aye we have all been there dave i am sure. i remember the first time i sent a bass not knowing about couriers so naturally took it to the post office. i sent my jd up to john diggins in birmingham and paid a cool £64!!!! and that was with a partially insured 3-4 day service! i thought nothing of it other than thinking bloody hell that was expensive and i wont be doing that again in a hurry. wish i had known about courier services then. ad
16. oh yes and that is a heck of a bass for the money!!
17. if you have a hard case you are laughing! i use parcel monkey to book it and they use citylink, its a next day service for around £7-10 plus insurance if you want it but thats only a couple of quid extra. as mentioned above you massively increase your market offering postage and the buyer pays the charges. i have sent and received umpteen basses and never had a problem and not always with a hard case either. i think the fact its a large parcel helps in that they cant throw it about like a small package. hope you go for it and it works out ok as it seems like its sold if you will post. ad
18. up up and away!!
19. getting the feeling its not sold after all!
20. i have a new one of these complete but with no elecs or pick ups and was going to defret it but it slaps better than most basses i have played due i think to the brass thats in the headstock as per sales bumph so it seemed a shame to defrett it. its essentially brand new bar a few marks and plays real nice, they are rrp $899 so not a complete cheapy. has anyone got anything fretless to trade? midi keyboard? sales pitch goes as per below: oh and its buzz feiten tuned if that does anything for you?
