7. I broke mine recently. it broke off at the G string due to me putting a higher guage of string on. i got another from here and stuck it on myself. decided to take off and put it on the bass http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Jackdaw-and-Swan_...0QQftidZ2QQtZkm
8. Ok. my daughter said she would buy a bass for xmas from Rondo music,. the one i fancied is a Stingray copy. not that struck on the colour. but i just wanted it for practising at home. sounded ok for what works out at todays exchange rate at £45, but when i clicked on the total it came to over $300, plus whatever i have to pay over here. i wont bother. didn't think it would be that much. 14. I wonder if thats been used has a lefty sometime. that extra strap hole i mean. also the Dstring looks kind of weird as it goes over the retainer.
15. A bit off topic and some useless infomation, the album cover of In the court of the crimson king was a painting by a guy called Barry Godber a computer programmer. it was his one and only painting. he died in 1970 aged twenty four.

21.
and from the same seller - an Avon brand P copy - which appears to have a bloody great split up the body - which the seller sums up thus: Used for battering in fence posts, I guess: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vintage-Bass-Guitar_...emZ230190310149 A pity because late Avons like this were pretty decent quality, I think low-end Fujigen Gakki, judging from the similarities to Cimars. .
you never know, he could be a Clash fan. 22. Just got back from a gig. it was in a pub in a high street. when we got there the Landlord asked if we could keep it down as he has had complaints about the noise. we did a song as a sound check and had a few claps from the punters and the landlord said that was ok, first time i've had applause in a sound check . as the night wore on and with windows and doors closed the volume crept up a bit (so did the heat) but no complaints from the landlord who gave us another half dozen dates for next year . not a bad night.
23.
What like this... Go on take it, one less for me one more for you!
Don't tell me, the name of your house is Warwick Caste! oh never mind
24. I must be getting old because I couldn't hear a note I was playing during certain songs and kept thinking I was playing flat. I would have thought if you could'nt hear what you were playing it meant you were at least in tune with the rest of the band, hit a few wrong notes and they seem to stick out like a sore thumb plus the stares you get from other band members. speaking from personal experience that us.
25. Lucky bugger!I wish it was a nearer, i never got to see Man. Nick Turner does some gigs with a band thet plays locally called the Jalapenos.
