2. I have a MIM jazz, it was all i could afford when i got back into it. i really like the neck and the feel of it. i fitted a pair of Wizard 84's and the sound has changed 100%, i'm thinking about putting a Badass on but where do i stop. new tuners, nut?, i'm wondering wether i should put my money into a MIA jazz or even a Lackland, i'm in a bit of a quandry. but i do highly recommend the Wizards, depends on what sound your after.

 5. I'm in a covers band and the latest song i v'e been told to learn is Elvis Costellos Olivers army. it sounds quite busy and when i have it down i'll be quite pleased with myself, much respect to the original player, but i don't have a complex or anything about covering other peoples work.
 6.
Yes, 14 in a stone. That sounds quite meaty. Is it worth another check? Were you draping a small elephant over the horns? I'll have a look about for infomation.
Are there many small elephants in Dorset then.
 7. Its the german guy again. he's always good for a chuckle. i have no idea what shrunken old guitar scratchplates are worth but the actual guitar must be worth a mint. 8. According to the Sun ex Jethro tull bassist Tony willaims left his Strat to close to one of those air fresheners and ruined the paint job. http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,4-2007370173,00.html

 11.
Cheers mate. Is Colin still at large?
He's only about a mile and a half up the road, but difficult to get hold of.
 12.
My Jaydee Mark King. 1986 model, crap fretting, binding on neck coming away from finger board, dead spots all over the neck, hissed like a deflating tyre. Wish I could get it back from the person I sold it to in 1995.
I'm still working on that

 15. Dirtystatic, have you played anywhere in the Wrexham area?
 16.
Even more potential cheapies http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Hartke-TP-300w-4x10-...1QQcmdZViewItem
Thats tempting. 22.
Not sure bout good price but i use a peavey combo (TNT 115) combined with one of their 2x10 cabs and absolutely adore the sound it makes, good for both prestine clean bass and distortion sound. Hope this helps, Nick
Hi, is the TNT 115 the same as TNT 130? the reason i ask is that i thought you could not add another cab to it without an amp as well.
 23.
Just spotted these - looks interesting. I wonder if the 64 or 84 would suit me best...
I have a 2004 MIM jazz like yours Machines and i put a pair of Wizard 84 on and its a totally different sounding bass.
