7. Not getting the time to use this so i'm going to have to let this one go to a new home. A model that is no longer in the Roland range, it combines sampling and sequencing with Roland's take on the MPC. The original review from SOS magazine is here : http://www.soundonso...olandmv8800.htm The 8800 being put through it's paces here : https://www.youtube....h?v=NxaI88AGGZY Looking for £450 inc UK delivery It comes with the original box, manuals and mouse, there is a VGA screen that could be included for an additional £50.
8. Corvette has been sold, Status still available for 425 delivered, (for some reason the editor won't pick up the first line)
9. Yes, a pair of MEC pickups (passive)
10. The image didn't load first time, so just added it, just to clarify both are at the same price 450 delivered in the UK
11. Corvette has been sold, Status still available Status Graphite Energy Matrix (425 delivered / 400 collected) This one was originally from bc'er 'fretmeister' dates from 97. the original fretted neck had been completely worn down and had been replaced with a new fretless graphite one. The P pup is a recent addition so the pups are wired separate with each P and JJ pups on a separate mono output, so you can run two amps off it if you like. Comes with a Status gigbag. *** SOLD *** Warwick Corvette Proline ( 450 ~ Made in Germany, G 025914-95) Wenge neck (BO), bubinga body, 24 frets, passive. Imho these are massively under-rated basses, sound fantastic, slim neck, 38mm nut, intonation that is spot on all the way up the neck and great build quality. This one is pretty much mint, you can tell as all the gold lettering is still complete on the pups. I have an identical 'roadworn' one I am currently using as my primary gigging bass. Comes with a Warwick gigbag. If anyone wants to try it out, might be possible to meet up in London/Oxford
12. I weighed the bass on the kitchen scales , 4.4 kg, just for comparison the Jazz was 4.1 kg. There are some more detailed shots of the bass on photobucket http://s1066.photobucket.com/albums/u408/kino_327/Warwick_Corvette/
13. I've just uploaded some images of the frets onto photobucket http://s1066.photobucket.com/albums/u408/kino_327/
14. There is some wear, but it is even, rather than patchy, with no grooves etc , i'll try and take some close ups when the light is better. Collection would be from Oxford area. hth Ian
