8. This is what He said about the MB heads "The power supply has no current limit protection and no fuses. If a pair of output transistors goes short circuit (a common failure mode), the power supply works harder and eventually shorts out its two power transistors before the main fuse blows."

19.
Presume you've seen this one Kevin? http://basschat.co.u...markbass-cl106/ Nearly half the weight of the Ashdown equiv.
I've got my eye on the Ashdown CL 610 cab 42kg with proper castors not those silly little wheels built into the corner edge . & I'd probably change those to Skate board tracks as seems to becoming a good idea .
20. If I have the time & to be honest bothered , I use My Ashdown labs 600 to power a 4 x 8 cab & Di from that into a ABM 1000 powering a 12" cab just so I can set up different EQ for each it does sound great But I not sure how much it's noticed in a pub full of punter that have had a skin full lol .
21. I use to cramp up , until I realised that after unloading the van & setting up I hadn't been drinking enough , I try to have a drink of water with one of those Berocca type tablets , or just a banana before heading off .
22. I'll keep my 2 x 12" cabs for upstairs gigs . A mate of mine carried a Ampeg 8x10 cab up the stairs of the 100 club once , on his own lol .
23. Any one gig with one ? thoughts please ease of transport , sound etc It's the Ashdown I'm thinking of & I have a Van , I just like the idea rather than carrying in 2 cabs or moving a table to one cab on plus they look cool in my opinion .
24. My back has always gone bending over the back of the cabs plugging in/out a lead .
