  11. You can get the boss Tu2 as a free app I have a Peterson rack tuner but it's So accurate it can take a while in a live situation , I use it for set ups .

  14. I've had MB & TC stuff , But the Ashdown ABM 1000 & 400 are fantastic IMHO , they will still build them to order .
  15. I thought I better mention I'm not including the bass ,set up or way you play ..just the bass amp & speakers .

My choice is based on it being made in the UK & weight mainly, But once you get into a certain budget say anything above £350 per cab & £500 for the head does it really make any difference ? reliability & customer service is also a consideration I suppose . I was thinking about how many rigs Mark King has had & He always sounds like Mark King .

  19. I use to have the standard version , the idea of this one was that it was tuned to C the idea being to able to play low keyboard type stuff . That's what Chris May told me anyway at the time (1984 ish .)

[/quote] definitely louder as I owned 3 MB heads at one point & spent hours A/B ing them The MB mrk3 & Little Rocker were a lot louder than the 800w head regardless of what you did with the EQ . Interestingly there was very little difference between the 250w mo mark & the 500w heads , based on getting the same tone . As for all the technical talk I don't have a clue , as long as it does what I've paid it to do .
