1.
I use a Hercules Double and it works for me. Very sturdy and well made stands.
Just ordered one .. thanks guys .
2.
I wonder what this one is like? Stag stuff is usually ok-ish. http://www.normans.c...-2-guitars.aspx
I've also have this & it's very easy to knock the bass over at a gig , Ok for home though .
3.
summat like this from flightcase warehouse?
I just got one like this & the basses move all over the place & knock each other if you're note carefull putting them in posistion
4.
I got one of these Quiklok double ones and it is rubbish, one side of the top bent as soon as it nudged against something solid:
Yep got that one & it's crap.
5. Thank flip for that !! I don't need another Shuker but at that price I was very very tempted .
6. Can anyone recommend a stand for holding two basses at gigs , I've payed for two & one is catches the strings as I pick a bass up & the other is a rack type but the basses knock each other , that's the trouble of buying crap off of Ebay
7. I use 2 x Alto 12s & we have vocals ,electric drums & keyboards going through them , they seem to work fine . then again I haven't tried anything else .
8. Does anyone actualy use this , you have to press the button to turn it off . I can't decide if it's one of those things that sounds good on it's own but will be lost in a band situation ?
9. Because I'm the thickest person I know , I got Jon Shuker to make me a 36" tuned D G C F & I use a capo on the 2nd fret for standard tuning & it works really well for a simpleton like myself
10. with my current band everyone except me goes through the PA , I use a Ashdown Neo 400 Head & a Barefaced 12T cab it sounds great but to get the sound I like I'm a bit to loud on stage , with a Electric drum kit we do have a fairley quite on stage sound , I'm thinking of getting a smaller cab that can give a bit more of a punchy sound at lower volume & I want to keep it British made , I'm think of a Barefaced 2 x 10 4 ohm even though I can't find any pictures of it or an Ashdown Neo 2 x10 any thoughts please . thanks
11. There is a demo of the NEO head being used with a 2 x 10 cab , But i think they should sack that guy using a Vigier bass he's not really showing you what the rig is capable of doing all of the sounds he is using are very HiFi & treble , They would be better off using Guy Pratt or the chap that has done the route Master Demo . in my opinion .
12. I have the NEO head & all I can say is that it knocks the Little Mark Rocker & MO Mark for Six & their customer support has been excellent . At the moment I'm using it with a Barefaced 12T cab but I'm thinking of getting the NEO2x10 cab.
13. At the moment I use the ABM Neo 400 R with a Barefaced super 12T . I use the ABM head with the foot switch to cover all the sounds I need , The EQ & Drive to get a Stranglers type sound , Compression & Octave for Tony Levin type sound , but with the shape button it is just a little bit to bass heavy & was hoping that the Neo 2x10 might just resolve that . Plus it looks nicer , looks easier to carry , & I'm just talking myself into getting one ...Oh & the after sales service at Ashdown has been excellent
14. As long as it doesn't have an annoying hiss I think I'm going to go for one & if I need more bottom end I'll just have to add a 1 x 15.
15.
I havent seen any other product videos - but I'm really liking the sound from my NEO cabs. Brief description via the link in my sig
Thanks for that , Can you adjust the tweeter ?
16. Thanks for that . I'm also interested in the Mini Abm cabs on here just trying to decide .
17. I as wondering if there are any demo videos of these cabs , The only one I can find is with Pascal Mulot using what looks like a Zon bass as for me I would like to hear a more standard type bass . Cheers .
18. Is this still for sale ?
19. I have the TC BH250 in my flat for practice as it's got the head phone / Aux sockets & a built in tuner & the tone print I keep the octaver loaded so I can use it as a back up for my Ashdown Neo 400 RH.
20. Hi what's the weight of these cabs ? cheers.
21. I use Peavey UL series , great quality .
22. We were playing " Every bodies changing " by Keane while there was a huge fight right in front of us , & we didn't stop .
23.
I might have a spare one if you need one
That's a kind offer but i'll get one localy thanks
24. I was just talking to the landlord of the last pub we played in & he said we sounded loud enough at sound check but when the punters came in we were one of the quietest bands he's had . It was just the Keyboard player complaining about the noise he wears headphones as it is & says he only wants to hear himself ? I haven't gigged with my new Ashdown yet , that's got a DI & a drive , eq, compresion & octave foot switch . I'm going try cranking everything up a bit more at the next one . Thanks for all your suggestions .
