    I was just thinking that, I use to have a series 6 . it was the speakers I though were poor the heads seemed pretty good ..

    Some of the Ashown, Matamp & one other were the only ones I could find where the amp was 100% made in the UK , & if your after a transistor head that just leaves some of the Ahdown .

    I noticed the korg a few years ago when helping on a PA , interesting . I like a clear piano like tone with punch , do you thing this amp would do it ? or does it distort regardless ? Or would an ABM be better ?

    The cab is going to be a Barefaced & just waiting to see who gets back to me on a couple of Amp manufactures .

    The most Disappointing amp I've had for me was a Mesa Boogie 400 & I was given it .

    I recently paid £20 & another £20 when I saw the anual fee note , even though I havn't sold anything on here yey I think it's worth £20 a year just for the info I get .

    I have a MB rig & I thought I would sell it & get a rig made in the UK. I was going for a Barefaced 2x12 & a Ashdown JJB 500 head . But after your comments on Ashdown a UK made rack mounted head isn't going to happen is it ?

    I had a look on the Matamp web site I could see any obvious bass amps with prices , but the guitar amps look very pricy .

    Just had a reply from Ashdown & All the valve stuff , CL line , ltd editions & AMB1000 are made in the UK
