  1. I think so, although it’s just about to leave me... I wish we had the same Foderas!! 😂
  2. Did Bill get the magazines though? I can’t sleep until I know ! 😂
  3. I’d get a white gloss finish. Very forgiving, and I’m not just saying that because I have one for sale!
  4. I keep looking at this, I’m not even a huge “wood” fan but it’s beautiful. 😍😍
  5. For me, like @Al Krow, I was late to the bass. A friend taught me some basics as I couldn’t play guitar... proudest moment being asked to join a band... then another band asked, then that morphing into our own band. Made some great friends... I’m ok at playing bass now... oh... and we played Wembley arena. 😊
  6. Will be soon....I’m hopeful of getting it into a Prince medley. 😃
  7. Thanks mate. If it had 5 strings it would be with you. 😃
  8. Cheers knicknack I sort of am sort of not. 😂 not looking for any trades are you?
  9. £500 plus shipping ... deal of the week 😃 Possible trades. 90s jap Fender p, j or pj in natural, Ashdown ABM600 (chrome finish) I have a very lovely example of a 1989 Yamaha Bb1100s for sale, in a very sought after white that’s aging nicely. This Bass really is lovely and in great condition for a 30yr old! Bought recently from @julesb of this very parish it’s cemented my love for PJ basses and this goes one step further being active/passive. It’s got a huge sound, nailing that P and with PJ selected it’s beautifully warm. It’s light weight, I’ll get a weight later, and very comfy to play with a nice slim j style neck . There’s a couple of marks nothing major at all and it’s all original. I’ve just had it set up, new strings and comes with a lovely low action and functioning hard case. I am happy to meet within a reasonable distance. I travel a bit so maybe near you soon! I could now post at buyers cost, if you wish to arrange it .... 👍🏻 Any questions hit me up!
  10. You need antlers too ..... they make great hat hangers! 😂
  11. High praise indeed!! Thats a very long journey to hear a bass 🤔 you come to me and bring them down. 😂
  12. I could be in the same boat on this topic soon... I’d narrowed the choice down to these 2 sets (after someone locally suggested bare knuckle which sound to gritty for me) @Deedee @walshy @hooky_lowdown @Lozz196All votes for the genders but why? I Appreciate sound is subjective I play a lot of funk and modern stuff do the Cs62’s allow that with nice deep lows? Apologies to the OP for a quick hijack!
  13. I use Johnny Miller to set up and repair all my basses, he’s in north Essex not far from Colchester. http://www.jonnymillerguitarrepairs.co.uk/ never had a refret done but I’m sure he does. Top bloke too. 👍🏻
  14. Here’s mine..... very possibly another on the way.
  15. D... matching hardware tuners/knobs/bridge it’s not fully blinged until it has lights!! 😂
  16. + 1 on the matt finish! 👍🏻
  17. +1. It really is the little things! I forgot I had one on the bass.
  18. Ha!! Mine do, on selected basses! I maintain it’s all to do with the jack size needing to be a tight fit! I have one of those volt meters too! Forgot that.
  19. We use some zip up cable tidies to contain all the cables. Various lengths depending on gigs. Looks good. Stops tangling. My xvives wireless kit is so small and convenient 😃
