I’m also using xvives U2s.
Pros. I love the size and design. They are easy to use and charge quickly. I’ve had no latency or interference and done 6-7 gigs with them. Our keys player also uses them. Range is pretty good and sound quality is no difference to a cable
Cons. I’m on my second set. I sent the first set back after getting a high pitched noise from them on 2 active basses.
They work fine on my fender jazz (passive) and my status. But neither set work on my modulus or shuker, annoying yes but not the end of the world. The advice from xvive was to extend the jack socket to alleviate the high pitched noise...??? That is the worst advice 😂
Cheers Andy. It was a good buy I have to say. Couple of marks on the back but as a first go with my own BB (I can’t count @Al Krow ‘s) I’m quite surprised. Might benefit from some new strings.
Any recommendations on strings for these for an old Skool no slapping vibe?
Cheers mate. Like a duck to water.😃 I love them. Surprisingly subtle out front (as lights go!) but really do help in dark venues!! 😎 I definitely made the right choice on the wrap arounds.
Give them a call tomorrow mate.. they are very helpful, but as the guys have said, they are quite a small outfit and very busy, they will answer the mails, calling is likely to get a slightly faster response 😃👍🏻
I agree with Reggea to us Yammy newbies @gobasserk please could you go from left to right and let us know what they are... I’m particularly keen to know what the white and yellow ones are! 😎
Or any other Yammy officianardos @AndyTravis 😃
In the first instance I’d give the guys at Status a call. It’s worth a try they may have spares. If you have the serial number they should be able to give you some history and possibly get you a replacement sorted, or suggest suitable replacements for them all.
