Two of the very best D class amps available today?
bassfan replied to Al Krow's topic in Amps and Cabs
There’s a few more features on the B. Tuner, built in effects and most notably the memory channels (similar to the TC rh range). You can also pair it with a cabinet to optimize that particular cabinet. @Dood will be able to confirm and add to my ramblings I’m sure 😃 -

I’d go B/amp over forte, purely as it has more features. -

+1 on that! And if I had change a Db751 for good measure. -

Or send a few freebies over to trial. 😂 I’d like to try one against my carbine (which I love!) -
Touché. You are first in the queue mate if I decide to let it go.

That white one would look so good next to my blue one. 😃

I’ll book a trip to specsavers tomorrow 🤓

I’m colour matched 😃 Well kind of... I have black straps for the 2 with carbon necks, white for the sonic blue jazz, and relic looking off white for the relic’d bass, more accessorised than colour matched. 😂

I suppose it depends if you want the old school style or whether you want a tablet driven mixer. We bought a new mixer last year and opted for a Mackie DL1608 which is iPad compatible, although I’m told that this is becoming iOS and android compatible this year. We run 2x active Turbo sounds Milan m15s, 3 mics, Bass, drums, guitar and keys all Di in. If you buy a cheap wireless router then you can also detach the iPad and go front of house to set up the mix. https://mackie.com/products/dl1608-dl806 Works for us 😃👍🏻

Both my dogs just left the room....... Just on an iPad, no headphones mine cuts out at just over 13. I’ve been a bit hit and miss with ear protection. I had some moulded ear plugs made up at the London BGS (ACS) a few years back but didn’t like the muted sound so wore them sporadically. We switched to in ears 2 years ago and they give a degree of protection but what degree I don’t know.

Within the warranty period?

No issues with active basses? I like the look of the adjustable angles and it would match the carbon neck 😂

New price £150.00 Hi All, Up for sale is my Line6 G50 wireless system. It needs no introduction I’m sure. Fully boxed and bought new in 2015 from thomann and has seen very little use. The transceiver has some Velcro on the bottom It’s boxed. Great condition. I’d say 9.5 out of 10 as there’s some marks on the receiver where a jack cable knocked it in a case it was in, nothing drastic and hardly noticeable, I’ll try and capture that in some pics tomorrow. You can see the tiny marks if you zoom into the pic on the pedal board. The transmitter has a “pouch” that fits on the strap. I had obbm make me a slightly longer and better cable to connect to the bass, I also have the original cable to. I've attached a recent pic of the receiver on my board. Any questions feel free to ask. £185 £170 gets it posted to your door, or collect if you are close and I’ll knock off the postage and throw in a brew.... 👍🏻 Trades: Mr blacks Fwonk Beta or a Funk Lite, with some cash my way.

Yeah I’ve always got spare cables even for my spares ! 😂 I’m thinking it might be time to move on the G50 🤔
-
Excellent so after every gig would be ok. Worst case if they fail then plug in a cable! No latency or quality issues with slap sound or low end?
-
G10 looks kinda cool though. Very compact.
-
I quite the idea of having no cables and packs to deal with .... plug n play. 😃

Afternoon all, Does anyone use the xvive u2 on a regular basis? I’m considering one , I just wondered whether any of you guys do and your thoughts. I have a line 6 G50 but I don’t use it as it’s on my pedal board, which rarely comes out. This just looks smaller and more convenient. I can look at all the reviews online and will do, just better to get some good old feedback from those that actually use them! Cheers.

Yep!! Our singer has the Hercules one for her iPad. It’s great (I actually got it for her from here). It’s pretty robust and does the job well (adjustmentable and tilts) She had a generic one that would fit any tablet but it fell apart after a few gigs.

Our guys use Hercules stands. I don’t as I can just about breathe and play let alone sing. 😂
