I have been playing my Sterling short scale for the past hour or so - well I say I did - it felt like it was playing itself!!
Amazing little tone bomb - it has a 3 way selector - parallel/ single/ series - favouring the parallel currently.
A bit more expensive that many of the short scales currently available but it feels well built. Lovely satin finish neck!!
No hesitation recommending one.
"You will not believe the quality on these instruments the level that these have jumped up from the first version of these basses!"
I haven't heard a bad thing about the first run....."Dear Santa..."
To be fair to them they have been a man down for a few weeks.
I emailed then rang them a few weeks ago - conversation meant they pulled up my email, sorted the order then and there, item in the post the next day. Robert's your Auntie's live in lover....
Not that difficult really..
Seems like all the greats are leaving us.
She rebooted an amazing career in the 80s - probably bigger then than when she was with Ike.
A serious loss to music, thankfully most of her contributions are recorded for posterity.
Wow....I've just been talking to a friend who's a long time Ray owner about my recently acquired Sterling short scale.
Bit of a price difference between the two...
So it arrived yesterday along with a fretless TRB1005 but I haven't been able to play either due to a damaged hand.
Bought from our own @cammymaxwellbass this short scale Sterling Ray fills a hole in my range of basses.
As I said, haven't been able to play it yet but I took some photos for posterity.
