  1. Do it to me one more time - Captain & Tenille
  2. Not sure who bought them but @Jabba_the_gut's creations are amazing. See if you can borrow one of them (check the build diaries thread if you haven't seen them)
  3. Not mine - I know nothing about this model other than it's semi hollow. I'm sure that those who know will know. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185526828639?hash=item2b3242be5f:g:1fwAAOSwrPZi4stc&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA8PW7fpr9%2Br1pn82%2BgX%2Brio9yRBfhVvrhWXWL%2FXWtpeppkgMeRAGyQEQqOEgR23S63%2BjCXPDLfiZq89obobbq2uiO3iQeanZSYkL2BOk1URZuEzb5tpRhZj%2B6jUyvm3BzcGnUvQuHXR569JUeDderYBPN5krOlBYQvZHU%2BJ1%2B6lRldOIu%2FIzUrzEOVcD24C5qEAxcEglUHvQrsUSKFGHQgQ5kpMEZQ48h5t51y1OUvDKg514%2FsuVUADYMzmWvrIUCUfWa9c0cwpAlIO%2BJ6a3VpaU4VnC9yJPr1sbqqNO3c4erw9Bz3nEwu8Y8TwKmpahZOg%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR97torv6YQ
  4. Browsing....and was looking at the Sadowsky Metro Express PJ 5. They have them at DHGate which I believe is a Chinese site - are items like the Chinese made Sadowsky models they sell the real thing or just poor copies? https://www.dhgate.com/product/sell-like-hot-cakes-5-string-bass-guitar/537594367.html?f=bm|GMC|pla|755398248|39890016695|537594367|pla-293946777986|113003004|GB|li13683772583|c|2|&utm_source=pla&utm_medium=GMC&utm_campaign=li13683772583&utm_term=537594367&gclid=CjwKCAjwo7iiBhAEEiwAsIxQEbwF1lj_qgCBo2S1LStLaaIAsa23W2EDz6FDh38ZJhcX6LOUjDnPJhoCY7cQAvD_BwE
  5. Now you need to kill him to limit the rarity of instruments he signed.
  6. I don't have any experience of them but they seemed to be well regarded. Have you tried any of the Ibanez range? Alternatively, with a £2K budget @Andyjr1515 could build you whatever you want (if he isn't already inundated).
  7. You know how you keep things - even though you don't need them - in case you ever need them? Ross came to my rescue when I needed a box to send a bass. Not only did he have a box, he had a box that fitted inside that other box. Double protection. A Godsend!! I expected a bit of trouble finding where he lived as I knew he'd moved since I'd last been round there (to pick up my second ever Trace Elliot) - he'd moved about 100 yards. Top, top fella!! He is the type of person that makes this forum so great. Thanks you, sir...
  8. As soon as I started reading this I was thinking "Mammoth" - enhanced performance may be the Emperors Clothes though.
  9. I have exactly the same bass and can confirm that it doesn't feel heavy being played. Huge tonal range - covers everything I can think of.
  10. @ossyrocks... @ossyrocks...wake up...breakfast is ready. Were you having that dream where all the musicians knew what they were doing and it all fell into place straight away?? Never mind, maybe one day...
  11. Just missed one like this on ebay. I was gutted. Are white scratchplates available?
  12. I have two currently. Really nice basses which punch well above their price point.
  13. Have a look at the Yamaha range before dismissing that option. I have two BBG5S, that's how impressed I am.
  14. Bridge over troubled water - Simon & Garfunkle
  15. Personally I'd be keeping the fretless with the maple neck and the Ninja black P. Maybe add a J or H to help it kick more bottom.
  16. I can understand why you'd be kicking yourself - amazing little combo. There's one on ebay currently.
  17. Are you thinking a high mass bridge as the replacement? The screws on the Fender hi mass line up with original bbot ones. Shop around as they are available for £21
