Not the prettiest Wishbass I've seen. I don't have the skills to finish one to a decent standard.

Seen 'em for less, seen 'em for more... I'm sure that someone could make a really nice bass out of one of these, whatever name was on the headstock.

I don't think flats should be restricted to certain basses. If you want flats on your bass, do it.

That's the one. Go by a number of names - That's two of 'em. Can't see the relief on the neck on the bass but new electronics and some sandpaper could improve it significantly.

I think it's one of those NT basses that come up regularly with different names built in Japan. I've never had one in my hands but I'd like to have one and add some decent electronics. Seen them for £50, seen them for £400.

I disagree. If you want to prioritise stuff you should think about learning the basics - playing really - rather than stuff that you will only need to know once you've reached a certain level of proficiency. I've been playing for over 30 years on and off and have only become confident fiddling with set ups in the last 5 years or so. Spend your time practicing rather than worrying about 2mm at the 12th fret.
