    I fear that you may find yourself throwing money at an unobtainable goal. Marcus is Marcus, you are you. Whether you will ever be able to replicate his tone as closely as you would like may depend on far too many factors, some of which are out of your control. Good luck though.

    I bought a white pearlescent one based on how good my orange burst was. Seemed pointless having two of the same bass so I sold the OB and kept the white pearl. As is the way with Yamaha - you get a lot of bass for not a lot of money.
