    Bought a set of Roto tapewounds from John - he hadn't even opened the packet. As above, great communications and prompt delivery. Couldn't have asked for more. John is the type of BCer that gives members it's reputation - a tribute to this forum - top fella. Trade with confidence.

    @Jonesy makes a lot of good points above. This may be one of the best investments of your life. Donate it to the child's college fund.

    I wouldn't even consider putting a bass in a roof box. Opportunists would love the chance to get their hands on something they could exchange for a couple of bags of smack / crack. Would the kids be open to travelling in the roof box?

    If I have any parts that will help I'm happy to donate to the cause. Not sure if you followed the thread for my Silk Bass. It was probably in worse condition than this but @Andyjr1515managed to make a silk purse from a pigs ear.
