Just spent the last hour or so trying to order a 5 string tapewound set. I can't find anything - nobody seems to have a 5er set in stock. No tapewound strings available from Status website currently either - you could always rely on Dawn to save the day (email sent). I'm particularly looking for a Warwick set which sell for £30ish (4 string) - NOT including the £19 P&P from Thomann. I've even emailed Warwick - (cap in hand) to ask why they aren't available. In the end I had to order a 65-115 set and an individual .50 in a different brand. Does anybody know why this might be (other than the global conspiracy to annoy me and waste my time)?
