I had a bit of an issue with a bass NOT being delivered within the 48 hours after using that service (actually took 8 days - inc weekend and RM strike). Parcelforce said that if I'd booked direct through them they would have refunded the total carriage but because I'd booked through a third party (Interparcel) I would need to claim from them, they could claim from them. Small print with Interparcel meant I couldn't claim against them as they are not bound by the time commitment.
Not used them since.
Fellas, let's not make this a " so and so are best" thread.
We are privileged to have the choice of so many great basses made on our doorsteps.
I've owned many of our UK built brands all of them fantastic in their own way.
Enjoy them all.
I think that we're spoiled for choice in the UK.
Status, Goodfellow, Overwater, Wal, Sei...
all making amazing basses.
It's like standing outside a cake shop where you can have whatever you want.
You are absolutely right....Good sales technique but I've bought myself a Sterling 4HH and I'm waiting for my Kawai to come back.
Need to be a bit more frugal for a few weeks...
When I bought my wall hangers I also bought some rubber half balls (can't remember what they're actually for) to stop the basses banging on the wall. I'm still waiting to put them up though.
I've been ordering Warwick tapewounds for my basses. Best price is £20 from Thomann but postage is £10.
Does anybody know if they combine the cost if you order more than 1 set.
These are highly regarded but a bit more than I thought.

This:
The solution to all your cab needs - compact, light and powerful (450w) - the "w" stands for "wedge". Sits nicely on top of your existing cabs and TBH a ridiculously low price for this cab.
