  1. Ah....reminds me of the Stray Cats song "Better looking every beer".
  2. In the marketplace currently are a Vanderkley Spartan and a couple of Glocks - both will do exactly what you're after - great tones from both. I foolishly sold my Glock Soul - one of the best Class D amps on the market.
  3. The Romantic Age Romantic Pastimes Years for Fears Tears for Years The Old Romantics
  4. Do you think that you'll lose that chocolate "W" under the bridge? Shame if you do. That body looks amazing - it'll really come to life when it receives it's coat of finish.
  5. I do like the natural fretless - (Ebony?) neck looks amazing.
  6. Apparently Elton John's favourite version of one of his songs.
  7. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/334182812477?hash=item4dced90b3d:g:vqoAAOSwvM1hadcz There was another on eBay (in poor condition) but I couldn't find it when I just looked.
  8. More prolific than I thought. Looked on Amazon and there are more than 10 albums - as with all "new" artists it's hard to know what to buy. In such cases YT is your friend.
  9. Thievery Corporation - heard this years ago without knowing what it was. Nice find on YT.
  10. I remember Schecter as being quite respected when I started playing back in the 80s. They seem to have lost their credibility nowadays.
  11. I've got one - great quality pedal - this is a VERY good price. I want more than this for mine.
  12. I sold one recently - amazing VFM, have the feel of a much more expensive bass. I predict these will become very collectable in the future due to their playability and tonal range.
  13. Many people will recommend a Neotech padded comfort strap... They work a treat.
  14. @philw was/is the UK importer for Veillette. He's had a few crackers... I have an 80s Veillette Citron - one of less than 280 built and possibly one of 3 in the UK - seriously good bass. If this is in the same league somebody's getting a real treat.
  15. A friend of mine had a Sandberg - sorry, no idea what model - which he rated very highly. Sold it (here I believe) due to it's weight. I'm surprised there hasn't been more interest in this, good aesthetics, quality build with good parts.
  16. That looks amazing - I really like the finish. I'll post some of my incoming 5er when it arrives.
  17. One of the best class D rigs I've owned. You will be pleased.
  18. ...so now you can just buy what you want
  19. Save yourself the work, send it back and get one that fits without modding.
  20. Prefer the LPB one TBH....but what do I know 😄😄
  21. I may be buying a TRB which I don't need. I really need to down size...GAS is a cruel mistress.
  22. Why don't you get one of the many talented luthiers here to build you a 35" fretless neck?
