Nice looking bass - seems to be quality materials. It's probably got a limited marketplace (exotic 6er??) so haggling may be the order of the day. Could be a good buy.

I must stress that I am a very good and very dedicated musician and so there is no point in contacting me unless you are too and feel similar to me. There's quite a few posers and wannabes on this website and I don't have time for people like that anymore. It's his modesty that's holding him back.

He has an amazing sense of humour... Not far from me if anybody wants it collected (petrol money involved obviously).

I saw this....too confusing for me. Ad says "very good condition" yet it's filthy - check the nut. Also if it's in such good condition why only one photo which hardly shows it at it's best. Suggests to me that it isn't something I should "invest" in.

What positives came from the rehearsal? They said that you can play so that should tell you that wasn't the issue and help your confidence. Also you've learnt to be not too denigrating - maybe your comment should have been "great, my slapping is a bit rusty - that'll give me a chance to get my slapping back up to par". Shows you're keen and willing to learn. As @Old Horse Murphy suggested, maybe the other fella doesn't work out and they'll come back to you. You'll be in a more powerful position then. Good luck.
