Same as...and I use light strings.
I'll need to scrounge some washers (if it's that easy), Worst case scenario I'll need to visit a local luthier (probably @gary mac)
Yamaha BB615 - I'll be changing the strings.
Somebody suggested "a couple of washers" on the truss rod - no mention of the size though.
I'm looking at "Luthier supplies" between spending time here.
A very nice SBV which I do/don't want on Gumtree.

They are quite difficult to come by generally (though there is one for sale in the BC marketplace) have you consider Schroeder? I have a pair of the Mini 8L cabs which are amazing - tiny little things that make a HUGE noise.
If you're after lightweight and powerful I would highly recommend these.
I'll do my best to resist but I can't say I'll be successful...
I know this is a lovely bass - trying to stick to 5ers currently.
Would you consider trades or p/x??
If I needed a 4 string P bass I'd be tearing your arm off.
Sadly I'm trying to stick to 5ers so will pass and wish you luck with the sale.
Somebody buy this before I crumble and change my mind
There's a whole thread about the Nanyos here:
You most likely to come across the 3 series - 301 is passive, 310 active, 320 active plus better woods and pick ups.
If you can find one, the Bass Collection Nanyo SGC basses are a good buy in your budget. Very playable - great tones on the PJ (not so much on the JJ), nice necks, very well built.
They are a bit 1980s but great basses all the same
I have a GK Backline 110 (70w) which is more than adequate for home use and I've even used it for rehearsals with a hard hitting drummer. A friend of mine has the 15" version (150w I believe) which he has gigged - did not lack for volume.
I think that I've mentioned owning a suitcase - exceeds everybody's expectations - those "silly little speakers" blow minds.
