  3. "Rare" doesn't always mean that it's worth having. Somethings are rare because they were shite and nobody bought them.
  4. There's a seller of straps on eBay who sells his as "unique" but also states "25 sold, 15 available".... Clearly "unique" means something different down under.
  5. Gimme some - Brendon (remember this??)
  6. Many of my friends thought "American Woman" by Guess Who was a LZ track. How many people thought that "Hey little girl" by Icehouse was Japan/ Roxy Music when they first heard it. Not necessarily a rip off as a "sounds like". We had a similar problem with a band I played in years ago - lots of comments about "sounding like" INXS.
  7. Looks like you're starting a breeding programme.. GLWTT
  8. Get down - Gilbert O' Sullivan
  9. Start me up - The Stones
  10. Apparently their Mum made Gary let Martin in the band....
  11. Beggar and Co - formed from members of Light of the World
  12. I thought that I'd posted photos of the new Performer. Well here you go...
  13. I'm sure that it's a great bass - would have been better in green 🤔🤔 Not a lover of red basses.
  14. Burning Love - Elvis
  15. @AndyTravis will suddenly get sick and have to take a day off work later this week...
  16. No Limit - 2 Unlimited
  17. Give me back my heart - Dollar
  18. Close the door - Teddy Pendergrass
  19. I've used Sanctuary Studios before - studio 2 is a very nice room with an Ashdown combo IIRC. I haven't used it but there has been some positive feedback about the recently updated studio in St Albans (near the printers).
  20. Imagine - John L
  21. There's a rehearsal space in Stevenage Old Town, just up the road from CODA Music. Post your details on their board. I've sent you a PM.
  22. Calling @VedranPU.... Good basses these - far more than just a "poor man's Alembic" - even though there may be a hidden compliment in there.
  23. I used to have that wallpaper in a previous flat...
  24. I recently discovered his videos... The boy can play...
  25. I congratulate you on narrowing it down to M -v- Fender. There are so many great brands out there currently that it's a nightmare choosing what to go with. To muddy the waters for you, have you considered G&L, Spector, Lakland and Yamaha? I've owned one or more of each and all have been excellent bits of gear - I'd be hard pushed to own just one.
