  1. I agree with @BassTool, however expect additional costs if you go for an unusual colour. I think you'll be OK if you go white/black or grey as they could do these at the same time as a vehicle of the same colour. Metallic purple would need to be a separate job I reckon.
  2. I bought a set of Wilkinson Clover leaf tuners from this seller. Very reasonable. At less than £15 a first time buyer can't go wrong .
  3. IIRC Picato used to supply Status. At £10 these should be ideal for a first time buy. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224464065235?hash=item344319d2d3:g:p10AAOSwQVlgmBME
  4. Once people are gigging again they'll have an excuse to start buying again. If my M2000 was anything to go by, this will be a very giggable Bass, loads of tones and a joy to play. It'll find a new home.
  5. Sitting in the Park - Loads of people including GQ and Freddie McGregor
  6. Ain't nobody - Chaka Khan
  7. Love of the Common People - Paul Young
  8. The lunatics have taken over the asylum - Fun Boy 3
  9. Don't get in the habit of looking on "Preloved" too
  10. Really??? Somebody's been relying on their predictive text
  11. I've used the cheap Chinese ones - they are available in 40-100 gauge I've also had DR black and orange on basses and have Aurora whites on my Psilos bass. I don't mind a bit of bling.
  12. Looks too new - tie it to the car and drag it around for a while and call it "Roadworn" - there will be scores of people trying to buy it. Such is the way with Fenders... GLWTS
  13. One of the members here brings one of these to the SE Bash - sounds amazing. I wish I could justify owning one - only recently converted to 5ers. GLWTS
  14. I think that DR and the Chinese company selling on eBay missed a trick with these coloured strings. Surely they should be red, gold, green and black...
  15. You should have persevered - there are parts where they sound amazing.
  16. Up the junction - Squeeze (obviously...required very little thought). JOOI does somebody have shares in BBD sales??
  17. Once I got past the 1 minute mark I started to enjoy it....
  18. Don't do it!!! Resist, that is....
  19. Devil in disguise - Elvis
  20. I second that emotion - Japan (somebody else might have done it before though)
  21. Rollercoaster - EBTG
  22. I played a Clover J copy at the LBGS a few years ago - very impressed - well balanced, good tonal range, felt well built. Based on this I thought there would be loads of interest in this - surprised there hasn't been. Have a bump.
  23. I had a GA24 - don't remember it having that many switches... Lovely bass though
  24. Anything you're likely to be playing on stage you would most likely have rehearsed to death many, MANY times before. It'll come to you...once the music starts your nerves will probably disappear. Good luck
