    I stupidly sold mine in one of my "Downsizing phases". I rarely keep the money...end up buying less good basses. I think I sell too cheap.

    I think it sold for about £130, so not the bargain I'd hoped it would be. I'm sure @Andyjr1515 (or your local luthier) could have removed the fretboard and replaced the offending part before making good. Whether at £130 plus this cost it was cost effective we'll never know. As somebody mentioned, other bargains do come up..

    Yes, I contacted the seller and he clarified that they are 5 sets. I bought a set for £20 +P&P - he will haggle. Just had a message and refund from seller - he only has 4 string sets left.
