    You don't need to look at eBay...just check the "For sale" threads - As well as my Markbass rig there are Quilters (heads and Bernard's 2x10 cab), the EBS 650 and the Glock rig... Some amazing gear for really good prices. I almost wish I was only just starting to play...

    I may be wrong (happened once before) but I think that you can safely use a 5 string pup as they will still create the EM field that you need. IIRC there was a 4 string bass on here with 5er pups.
