    Shame - nice bass, well priced. TBH I thought it would have gone by now, especially as somebody was asking about recommendations for a first 5er - thought this would be right up there. GLWTS

    I also have a G&L SB2 (Tribute) - great bass, punching well above it's financial weight. I'm done with JJ basses - I feel that they "lack something" that you get with a PJ. I'd recommend the SB2 - won't take you long to get over not having a tone knob.

    The choice of good P basses nowadays is huge - how anybody can choose is beyond me... As a recent convert to G&L and Lakland I can recommend the build quality.

    I generally only look at string gauge....for me the lighter the better. I don't watch videos for strings - after all, we all know the tone is in the fingers.

    Scammer!! I listed several items before Xmas and had the same message from the same person wanting to buy all 4 - 2 electro acoustics, the Ibanez fretless and Markbass rig I have for sale here. Reply advising that you're reporting them to Fraud Action. I'd add something to this affect on the ad too.

    Just to go against the grain... The bass I've owned the longest is my Veillette Citron which I had to import from The States. One of maybe 3 in the UK it is lovely to play, great balance and amazing tones. I generally let visiting bass players play it since it may be the only opportunity they'll get to play one of these 80s masterpieces..
