He was a brilliant bass player - shame that he wasn't more well known. He was a great role model - what many of us aspire to. A real loss to the Bass community.

I was looking through some old posts and came across photos of the Elwray Infinga bass - the builder sent it to me and it went round amongst the BC Community for road testing and comments. Got me wondering - does anybody know what happened to the Bass. I can't recall when the builder , Marco Elwray, last posted. I currently have a trapped nerve in my neck which sends a shooting pain down my left side...again a bad posture condition. As I'm getting older I'm finding that more things are going wrong with me...

I have an SB2 - very impressed - especially as the fella I bought it from complained that there is no tone knob. Takes a bit of getting used to but once "mastered" it seems completely natural.

Waiting for my recently acquired 55-01 Skyline to arrive. Historically I haven't got on with 5ers but I'm committed to persevering this time.....or I'll be looking for a trade for a 4 string. Is there a consensus regarding the 01-v-02?

I've just bought a bass where the body colour has seen better days. I had one for a while - before taking cash out of your wallet have a read-up. Apparently there was a problem with the active pick ups and pre-amp which resulted in Fender stopping production.
