    Natural scratchplate (match the furniture) and copper hardware and this would look amazing.

    None other than Terry Chapman who does wonders with guitars and basses. Terry's done numerous jobs for me (and many other Herts based BCers) - today he sorted out a troublesome preamp and set up my bass (along with some other little problems). Quick service done to a high standard at reasonable rates. Highly recommended.

    SOLD AND ON IT'S WAY TO OZ I'll take £550. Be quick. Further reduction to £500 - I've seen them sell for a little short of a grand. Recently acquired...I shouldn't have bought it really. I struggle with lined fretless so I have no chance with this unlined. I've given up already. Previous owner had it in a cupboard for the previous 30years. Mick Karn fan. I've had it looked at and work done. The work cost me £110 (see photo), not including a new set of Status tapewounds. Bass is nearly 40 years old and the paint is showing it's age. No problem if you like a relic'ed finish. Bass is all original except for new knobs (matching) and new brass nut. Needs a home where it will be loved, cherished and used. Comes with tatty OHSC (no handle) new handle obtained from eBay.
