  1. We knew you couldn't stay away... Welcome back
  2. MarkOne Audio 3-looper pedal. This pedal can be used to bypass those tone sucking effects pedals PLEASE NOTE: THIS PEDAL DOES NOT RECORD AND PLAY BACK YOUR INSTRUMENT! I HAVE TO MAKE THIS CLEAR AS I HAVE HAD A FEW PEOPLE PURCHASE THESE PEDALS THINKING THAT THEY DO. MarkOne Audio is THE new name in pro audio effects All MarkOne Audio pedals are hand built in England so your guaranteed quality The 3-looper features: True bypass so your sound is not affected rugged yet compact aluminium case (145x95x49mm) Top quality jack sockets made by Neutrik Top quality cable using point to point wiring removes any loss in sound quality MarkOne Audio use only the best components chosen for quality and not economy Cool blue LEDs lets you know which channel is in use. Runs off either a 9 volt dc power supply or 9v battery comes with either rubber feet or velcro (please state which one you want when you pay - will come with rubber feet if you don't say anything) 2 year warranty included The pedal does not require power to work, the battery/power supply is only used to light the LED to indicate the the loop is in use. When you bypass the loop the LED is switched off This pedal retails at £89.99.
  3. Refreshing an old ad - pretty sure I still have the pedals on the list.... Clearing out more gear. Listed below are pedals, mostly bought on impulse and never used. All in good working condition. Info available from Google. Prices do NOT include P&P - allow another £4 on each pedal. Pics to follow: Dr Q Envelope Follower: £35 EBS Triple Envelope Filter: £100 Markone 3 Looper: £60
  4. I looked at a set of the extra lights but the jump of 25 between the A and D seems excessive. String Series: Energy Material: Stainless Steel No. of Strings: 4 String Set Gauge: .35, .55, .80, 100 Length: Long Scale, 94cm Core: Hexagonal high carbon content I'd like set of 35/55/75/95
  5. In my impulse buying days I would have snapped this up. Still tempted TBH. GLWTS

  8. I was given a set by Andy (formerly with D'Addario) at the first Herts Bash but for the life of me I can't remember what I used them on or whether I liked them. What you should remember is that they have a membership here - @D'Addario UK - and are happy to engage in any discussion about their products. I've never had any reason to complain about any of their products and the CS has always been excellent - there are a number of threads confirming this.

  10. Wow...missed this first time round...a real looker. Can't understand why it didn't sell.
  11. Add KAM and Kala to the list. I looked at the Mayones Cali - certainly look the part but I can't justify £1500 on an impulse buy.
  12. There are a lot of things that I like about this bass however the misaligned bridge pick up would drive me mental...
  13. Details passed to a friend who's grandson is interested in taking up Bass
  14. Who said anything about "need"? If I only bought what I "needed" I'd only have one bass and one amp...I have significantly more because I "want" them. I don't think I'm alone.😉😉
  15. I don't get the Hate for Scott and SBL. I've met Scott a few times - LBGS - and he's a really nice bloke - he even remembered me the second time we met. He's giving you free access to his time, his knowledge and experience - nobody's forcing you to sit and watch his videos - and most of us benefit from watching them. IMO He's a great tutor and makes learning easy and enjoyable. I wish that there was a resource like him/SBL when I started playing. Some people here need to give him a break.
  16. I had one of these...amazing bit of kit but IIRC very heavy, even for TE. Great if you don't plan to move it.
  17. I had a similar experience a few years ago - not Ibanez but the same oily residue you describe - have you tried wiping the strings off with something like methylated spirits?
  18. I often use masonry or paving slabs. Sit yourself down for 30 seconds and rub your nails over the aforementioned. Best bit of emery board you'll find.
  19. I bought one based on the recommendations on here. Hated it! I couldn't get a tone that I liked - The built in effects had no use whatsoever - as stated, they're probably more suited to metallists/ proggists that somebody after a phat, funky tone.
