    I regrettably sold a G&L M2000 - lightweight, twin Humbuckers, phat tones...and they can be found in your budget. Try one before giving anybody your money for something else.

    I used to use mine with as Vanderkley 112 - Paired with the TE you have the luxury of a clean sound cab and it being lightweight.

    Head now sold - sellers remorse setting in. CAB SOLD!!! Picked this up in a part exchange - full working order and has a clean warm tone. Surplus to requirement so needs to go to make space in my, already overcrowded, home.     Love mine...I have 5 TE's from an Elf to an AH500. You'll be hard pushed to find a better amp for the money. GLWTS
