    G&L are another of those companies building basses which play well above their price point. Leo wasn't lying when he said these were some of the best basses he'd ever built.

    I love this body shape - I have 2 TRB1005 basses, so well balanced - joy to play. There's a blue 5er on Gumtree at the moment for £500, along with a 614, a 615 and a 1025x at reasonable prices.

    In years gone by I thought I would have loved to have been a Pro bassist. Obviously there have to be sacrifices - relationships seem to take a beating. Arguments with Record companies, getting ripped off by managers and ending up hating your band mates all seem commonplace. Fame and fortune are fleeting, and it must be really grating to others to hear "don't you know who I am". Most of us play because we love to. When it becomes a job that must suffer. So given the opportunity who would have been a Pro player as a career?

    Great bass as I recall. Bought around the time I sold my Harlot - felt wrong not having an ACG. Buyer will be more than happy.

    I think that I owned this for a while. IIRC as you would expect from an ACG, played like a dream. I think that I sold it due to the weight. What does it weigh?
