  11. Guardian Live | What's on An evening with Skunk Anansie's Skin Thursday 24 September 2020, 7pm–8pm BST Born Deborah Anne Dyer, Skin rose to prominence in the 90s as the frontwoman of rock bank Skunk Anansie. As a black queer woman writing and performing in the heavily white and male Britpop era, she has continued to blaze trails throughout her career; in 1999 with her band she was the first black woman to headline Glastonbury, and her political lyrics have spoken to the disenfranchised for the past 25 years. In her upcoming memoir, It Takes Blood and Guts, co-written with journalist Lucy O’Brien, Skin chronicles her life as a Jamaican working-class girl from Brixton who broke through a difficult childhood to find fame as a world-touring performer, fashion icon and social and cultural activist. She will be in conversation with Observer journalist, Miranda Sawyer. Book tickets
  12. Review: Spec: https://www.thomann.de/gb/gl_tribute_jb_bass_3ts.htm
  13. Acquired this recently. Haven't been able to gel with it unfortunately - probably shouldn't have bought it really. These are available at various outlets for around £474 - I can only find one small mark on it so probably as clean as anything in your local stockists. Weighs in at 4.5kg.
  14. Having withdrawal symptoms - @Andyjr1515 hasn't built anything in (what seems like) ages...come on people, somebody commission something.

Well, there is the ongoing guitar bouzouki ;)

I know it not a bass but there are soundclips :)

      And I think there's a bass after that...:D

  15. Interesting neck design
  16. Bargain...
  17. Agree with @fleabag, it wasn't a secret what bass he played....
  18. A bet Warwick wish they'd thought of this... I'm sure there's something in that design they can steal
  19. Nick Smith (Doctor of the Bass) has a shop in Peterborough. He's a member here so you may be able to PM him if you can't find him on google.
  20. Cheeky bid placed...
  21. They recently provided my Amp Tech with the parts to service/ repair my AH300.
  22. Weight seems to be a major issue with the old Trace Elliot combos. Solution: get a TE head (around 12kg) and pair it with modern lightweight cabs.
  23. This.... If I was going to buy anything other than a Trace Elliot.....
