  1. Mama, weer all krazee now - Slade
  2. Bargain...I paid £150 which I thought was OK when I played it.
  3. For those who haven't seen my "Wanted" ad, @Edmund_Gomes is looking for a specific bass and preamp. A friend of his is looking out for a TRB or similar Preamps for his JP-1.
  4. The mother of all bargains..
  5. I have several TEs - they are all surprisingly loud when you compare them to amps of supposedly similar output. I love the tonal palette too - every tone I want is in there somewhere.
  6. One day I'll fly away - Randy Crawford
  7. While (German) Shepherds watch their flocks by night - Xmas Carol
  8. My back starts hurting just by looking at it...
  9. Ever so lonely - Monsoon
  10. TBH if it was a 5 string it would get more use. The only 4 string I play is a Mania fretless - another bargain.
  11. Me down to one bass??? 😄😁😅😅😂🤣
  12. I have an Aria 4 string with a MM pickup which I don't play - nothing wrong with it (in fact it's nicely balanced, good tone, nice neck) - I have several other 4 string basses I don't play. The resale price of these is ridiculously considering how well built they are and how good they play. I would have loved one as my first/ second bass.
  13. Got to agree with @cetera regarding these being great basses. I foolishly sold mine in a downsizing exercise that didn't work. Hope you don't regret selling this.
  14. Is this one of the neck thru models? I always wanted to convert one to a headless system. Let me know if the headstock gets broken.
  15. Agree with @attackbass. If anything I wish I had a Stingray 5er to trade.
  16. @Al Krow, pm sent..
  17. Are they available with pickups? 😉😉
  18. I remember Arias being highly regarded in the 80s. No idea if they lost their way or if its just a flavour of the month thing but others with long memories should agree.
  19. I would avoid any Hohner with the Select pickups. I had one in the 80s which I initially thought was good but later realised was rubbish. Pickups have low output and limited tonal range.
  20. Thought: isn't this in the wrong thread? Has no musical bearing at all. I think one of the Mods or Admin should move this...
  21. Lonely boy - Andrew Gold (been waiting to use this for ages)
  22. Would be my recommendation. IMO spending more doesn't always get you more.
  23. His latest phlegm- Elvis
  24. Changed the CD in the car earlier - reached into the pile and pulled out Jimi Hendrix greatest hits. It felt like I'd heard every track a million times- forced myself to listen to it even though it was punishing. Next time I'm in the car I'll be swapping it out. Similar experience??
