    As you say, no idea why you would need to change the tuners on a G&L (as owners will tell you). Great buy for the price. GLWTS.

    I snapped the G string on a set (my fault) - contacted D'Addario who sent a whole set. Fantastic customer service but I still need a G. Great strings providing a lovely deep warm tone - very Motown... They're about £60 new IIRC GLWTS.

    Becoming all too common...seller expects their item to sell for x amount, when it doesn't reach this price they have a hissy fit and withdraw the item. I've had it happen a few times.

    First visit to the forum since this matter arose. Can somebody update me as to BC's position in light of the many complaints please.

    As a non supporting, but long standing member I really don't like the idea of BC "selling" my info without my consent. I am another member who will be leaving (despite being active in the current SE Bash) if the proposed partnership goes ahead. I still haven't read anything explaining why the "Reject all" option can't be implemented during this trial period.

    Fixed Most of the gear available to try would not be available in most shops. Don't think of this as a positive - it just means that your GAS will be for more exotic gear.

    Fellas, @KarateKid and @ForbiddenWytch, I know that Colin spent several hours editing out potentially libellous posts. Could you save him the trouble of doing this again by doing it yourselves? It's pretty clear to everybody who has read this thread that there are some strong feelings towards Mr Mason for his actions but we wouldn't want him to get the upper hand by making a lawsuit against the site owners for Libel/ defamation of character or slander.

    Is 8 too young?? There are loads of videos on YouTube of kids playing bass to a high standard. Some are at such a standard that many of us would be embarrassed to follow them on stage. Start 'em early and hope that they don't find a different hobby which is even more expensive.
