  1. umm, what would i do if it was me??? i mean certainly for the original and simplest design go for the standard jazz, but if i was me id go for a cheaper jazz and modify it yourself, then it would be more your instrument, or even scratch build a jazz, e.g.body from warmoth or ebay, neck the same, or even a status graphite one, pickups/electrics of your choice and hardware is your choice too...i think it would make it a lot more personal... just my opinion though mate up 2 you hope this helps mB

  3. great basses, i think there made in poland i actually played wojitek pilichowski's bass at music live (the light coloured wood one with blue leds), through the mk500 head and an 8x10 cab sounded fantastic.... great bloke too need any more info get in touch marcus
  4. top three eh?? erm... mark king: just the best. he plays better than anyone else, and then makes it even better by singing over the top of it too stanley clarke: brilliant fingerstyle player, not keen on his slap technique though (dont know why?) marcus miller: i like his name lol, nah his playing is great his solo on teen town is fab.. and me: i love my sound, but not my playing marcus

  12. umm i have a moped if that counts and its worth about £500 if anyone wants to buy it (hint hint)... and all my bass gear that i have i would say is worth about £2000 ... marcus

  14. i was at the bristol gig last night and it was f***in amazing mark king is still the best end of. and he even had a cold so... instead if playing the song romance, he did a bass solo and love games instead which was cool, when i met him after i told him happy birthday for today and he said thanks great gig marcus p.s. that new status literally batters the old kingbass
  15. a nice trans red precision, with a black scratchplate and maple board, i want one bad...! there lovely to look at great sounding basses too, i just dont get on with the necks hope this helps buddy marcus

Anything by Mark king, the best bass player ever (in my opinion), true groove and skill, how he sings and plays and chews gum ill never know, watch a video of eyes waterfalling by level 42 on youtube....f*ckin hell! what a monster! Stanley clarke, a bit boring sometimes but a true bass playing god, every bass player should have heard his music at some point! Marcus miller, what a name lol, just a fantastic bass player, his double thumbing is mind blowing, check out his solo on teen town...its taken me a week to work out. omg andi was studying hard... others: paul mccartney, adam clayton, john entwislte, bernard edwards, stuart zender, mike rutherford, earl falconer, paul williams (r.i.p.), louis johnson, verdine white, wojitek pilichowski! there are others but its too late.... marcus
